A horde of young people disrupted traffic on a major Philadelphia highway this weekend.

The incident was captured on camera and posted Sunday on social media by multiple witnesses.

Videos show hundreds of people on bicycles riding on Interstate 676/Vine Street Expressway in Center City. Spread across all the lanes of the eastbound side, the riders pop wheelies and swerve, preventing motor vehicles from using the roadway.

I’m in West Chester, about 40 mins west of Philly.

My sister was visiting from out of town this weekend and asked if we could go into Philly on Sunday. Weather was beautiful.

I told her I’d rather not fight traffic, parking, and all the city idiots on such a beautiful day. We stayed in my area and visited a few local venues with outdoor seating/bars.

Good call on our part.

Empowerment, and the desire for MORE (unless, of course, it’s a “cultural” characteristic, and then it’s DESERVED.

Clemson University in South Carolina will no longer hold minority students accountable for tardiness. Instead, minorities’ culturally different “perception of time” must be tolerated.

The Philadelphia Police Department is aware of the situation and noted there were no injuries reported, according to NBC10.

And that is why they do these kinds of things. The police sit back and do nothing.
