The student government at Western Kentucky University on Tuesday voted in favor of giving free tuition to black students.
The school’s Student Government Association passed a resolution by 19-10 supporting slavery reparations for black students in the form of free tuition and free access to the public Bowling Green campus.
The resolution also recommends that the university create a task force to “assess the feasibility of test-optional admissions and geographically-weighted admissions,” claiming that some standardized testing poses a disadvantage for needy students and perpetuates inequality and “white supremacy,” The Bowling Green Daily News reported.

And to no one's surprise - that free education will be worth every penny they paid for it.
In about four years, a degree from WKU will be worth what was paid for it.
Oh, what a nice gesture.
And completely pointless.
“Education” becomes worth about as much as you paid for it.
College is not an automatic given for anybody, as not everybody is equally well endowed with the necessary requisite preparation or inclination to participate.
And the students should feel free to pay for the “free” tuition. NEXT!!
Empty gesture. Now if they really cared, they would drop out of college and work (or borrow) the money to pay for a black to take their place. Now that would be a bold gesture.
This is a perfect example of “democracy”. It allows a mob to rob Peter to pay Paul.
Why not just give them diplomas for being black? Skip all the other stuff?
Put your money where your mouth is snowflake. I propose that each student at WKU be required to take out a student loan to pay for the black students tuition.

I don’t mind “free tuition” on the basis of “low income” and academic stats that qualify someone. That would apply to well deserving low income students regardless of “race” or ethnicity.
The result of the “reparations” agenda can likely lead to “free tuition” for some portion of “black” students for whom their family income does not require free tuition, as well as cause some student seats to be denied to equally deserving low income students who just don’t happen to be “black”.
Might as well print the diplomas on Charmin......

What next? These same snowflakes will ‘identify’ as black? Free college for all....woo hoo.

Are the 10 who voted against it guilty of Hate Crimes requiring expulsion?
Or are they guilty of the lesser charge of Microaggression, requiring public humiliation on campus?
