Hi, there, radu!

Hope you had a good day today! All the kitties fat and happy?

Our day was good. Got out to get some errands done. Like the car inspection so I can now get my license renewal done. Went to lunch and then went to visit my MIL. She’s doing better. Finally has visits from Nurses Unlimited and a therapist who are trying to heal and strengthen her.

She’s still not sure if she wants to take the trip to Missouri yet. Not long to make a decision, though. I asked her today, but won’t say anymore. She knows that we’re ready to do it if she gives the word. Except for the 2-day drive, I wouldn’t mind going. It’ll be cooler up there. LOL!

YAY! First “jello” shots for your mom this week. Sure do hope they help.
And praying they can come up with some meds to tamp down her hallucinations. They’ve gotten so bad now.

It almost looks like Spring up there these days. Nice to see the snow gone and decent temps up there at last. Just need to see green grass on the cams. :-)

Yes Ma’am

I want more cool nights with chili pepper lights on the deck but they screwed that up with daylight savings times.

Now its dark in the morning and hot and light at night.

Gnight

Hey there, LUV!

Sounds like you had a good, productive day. Glad to hear your MIL’s doing better. I hope she feels well enough to decide to make the trip to MO so she can see everyone again.

A lazy day here since I did the grocery shopping last night. It didn’t rain nearly as much today as they’d predicted it would, but if I hadn’t shopped last night it probably would have been a washout. LOL

Kittehs have been nice and quiet this evening and that’s been a nice change. They’ll all wake up soon and go on their usual mad tears through the house.

Thanks.....one day at a time....I just got back from changing the angle of the blinds in her room (on the second floor) because there were too many signs outside, even one that said FReeRepublic, and Away In A Manger.

Our nights are still cool, fortunately, but too many bugs already. Makes being outside in the evenings an itchy affair.

Just before my Dad went into hospice they started talking about his youth and when they met and the big Long Beach, CA, earthquake that knocked their house off its foundation and him being sent to live with relatives.

At least every couple months she calls in the night for me to make him get in his own bed so she can sleep. LOL! She wants so much to be with him.

Glad you had a lazy day. Those are the best kind!

I’m watching Didi’s bunch. They are getting to a cute stage now, even with all the squawking. LOL!

Glad your kitties are quiet, even for a bit. I just traded Ginger for Peaches, but I hope he’ll want back out. It’s so nice out, even though at 80 degrees, it’s too darn warm!

Yeah, lazy days are nice, aren’t they?
Tomorrow will be more hectic. Republican women’s group meeting and I’ll visit Aunt Clara afterwards. The meeting’s in the town about 10 miles south and Clara’s in the town 10 miles north of us so it’s a lot of driving around. At least the chances for rain are minimal.

I’m watching the OKC owlets and they’re having a grand time hopping all over the ledge. I’m glad to see they seem to have enough sense to stay off the railing tonight. It’s windy.

Didi’s brood ARE cute now, at last. Those are the ugliest owlets when they first hatch. LOL!

Maybe if you walk to the door Peaches will follow you and go back outside. :-)

Thanks for the prayers. I’m kind of “excited” to see the doc tomorrow. I will hopefully know more about what I’m dealing with, and Mom wants to know where the hallucinations are coming from. Don’t know if they have answers, but I’m hoping to find out more about services available in the city.

Her secondary insurance told me that Medicare, and Aetna, will help pay for in-home care. Both told me no for my Dad. I promised to keep her at home til the end if it’s possible. But I’m getting close to needing someone here while I’m at work.
