Thank you for your post. You understand the ballistic trajectory thing. A missile from NK that reaches the US will be moving really fast. Our shoot down capability depends of this speed and at some point we will fail (miss with the shoot down) I am familiar with the THAAD missile and it is more for intermediate range launches. The full scale anti-missile program has not tallied as many “hits: as the THAAD but we are probably working things out as we speak.

But even so, we can’t get them all, the experts say. One thing is certain, if they use nuclear weapons on the US and one of them hit, the Norks won’t be able to stop any of the US’ ICBMs.

The only way to find out is to shoot down a Nork missile the FIRST time they launch one and don’t wait for the second or third missile launch. Then after you find out, follow with a MOAB.
That will settle the matter on both sides once and for all.
