Wal-Mart really soiled his reputation.
A Montana professor is suing Wal-Mart for libel because an employee listed the academic’s occupation as “toilet cleaner” on a fishing license application.
Montana State University assistant professor Gilbert Kalonde bought a state fishing license from a Wal-Mart in April 2015, and a store employee used Kalonde’s MSU I.D. when filling out an application form, according to a complaint filed in Gallatin County District Court.
But when the employee entered Kalonde’s occupation into a computer database, he wrote that the professor “cleans toilets,” the complaint charges.
The incident exposed Kalonde to “hatred, contempt [and] ridicule,” the suit claims.

I’ve cleaned my toilet before. Never felt insecure about it.
It should have read: “poop pusher”.
So, that is how to spell professor.
If I were the judge I would find for him, award him one dollar and tell him next time fill out his own license instead of making the store clerk do it.
These days I view toilet cleaners to be a more honorable and higher calling than Professors.
Just sayin’... Too many Prof’s these days ruin the minds of young people by indoctrinating them into radicalized leftist fold rather than help to give them an education they can actually use. In a just and perfect world these indoctrinators would yanked out by the root and banned from ever teaching again. Sadly we don’t live in that just and perfect world...
Besides; they would probably just work for Huffpo, the NYT, or Wapo (etc. etc.) shoveling their same brand of manure to a larger audience.

I see I’m not the only FReeper wondering WTH that piece of information is deemed pertinent to a fishing license, anyway.
Do they demand photo ID to ensure all the info matches? (I’ve never applied for a fishing/hunting permit, so wouldn’t know.)
I thought it was all about the fee collected, not the detailed identity info.
