After barring Arkansas from executing eight inmates in rapid succession because of a dispute over how it obtained one of its execution drugs, Judge Wendell Griffen went to an anti-death penalty rally, where he made a stir by lying down on a cot and binding himself as though he were a condemned man on a gurney.
Griffen's participation in Friday's protest outside the governor's mansion sparked outrage among death penalty supporters, including Republican lawmakers who described it as judicial misconduct and potential grounds for Griffen's removal from the bench.

He wants to outlaw executions ? He needs to resign the bench immediately and run for the state legislature. He has no business serving in a judicial capacity.
that’s grounds for not-only instant force recusal but malfeasance on the part of the judge and REQUIRES impeachment.
If the rule of law is to mean anything in this country this judge must be forced to step down. (and it means nothing to Democrats anymore who are nothing more than thugs running a gang.)
There has to be a way to remove a judge who makes law from the bench.
Fine, throw the condemned into solitary confinement then. No outside contact with anyone. Way harsher than actually facing death.

Judge was on TV. Strapped to a litter akin to what the inmates will be. Totally disgusting for a judge. No impartiality whatsoever.

A conservative-leaning judge who attended a political rally, especially one tied in to a ruling he had recently made, would be removed from the bench by the end of the next business day.
Just getting angry and complaining on message boards isn’t going to cut it.
Not until we get SERIOUS about IMPEACHING judges who overstep their authority.

Imagine the howls of protest from the media if the judge upheld a major, controversial piece of anti-abortion legislation, and then later attended the March for Life on the same day.
