Wow! I pulled up the radar after reading your post and you’ve got a BIG batch of rain moving your way! You should get a nice amount from it. Maybe a little lightning too. Bet Peaches and Ginger will want to stay in tonight. LOL

No rain for us last night. Figures. Slight chances for it off and on through the weekend but we probably won’t get any of it.
Hot today and will be the next week. It’s time to start swapping out winter clothes in the closet for summer clothes. Looks like winter finally moved on.

It started raining really good about 30 minutes ago. Sorry I disappeared. I was trying to edit some pictures for a friend. Funny thing is, both kitties are out and haven’t stormed the doors banging to get in. :) Thunder doesn’t bother them, but getting wet does. Maybe they’ve found a good place to shelter.

I hope it keeps it up all night. Not greedy or anything am I? :)

Yep, I have a feeling that your cool weather is about over kind of like ours. Hope you do get some rain. Maybe this system will head your way!

I checked the radar again a little while ago and figured you were a happy camper. There should be a good amount in the rain gauge after it’s over. Sure would be nice if it headed this way but I don’t think it’s supposed to. We just have little 20 and 30 percent chances for rain when there’s a chance at all so that’s just scattered stuff.

Glad you’re getting that good dose tonight. You need it!
And what luck the kittehs aren’t banging the door wanting in. LOL!

We should get at least one more cool-down - blackberry winter - but it won’t be a frigid one. Better not be! I hope last Fri. night was the last we’ll see of 32 degrees for a while!

Third time trying to post.....

I’m home, and have my Mom fed.....my sister texted me that she said she fell again and got herself up, and that she was angry with the neighbors for the signs they were putting up. AND....that she is positive that Stan and his neighbor were both spying on her with telescopes. All this from her room on the back side of the house. Neighbors are only on the front and across the street.

I’m taking tomorrow off as a sort of emergency to go to the Prov Senior Care office, get the paperwork, and fill it out right there. She doesn’t have a doctor and we need one.

They say new patients are 4-6 weeks out and they need the paperwork before the time starts. This paranoia is coming on fast and I need to get a camera in her room so I can see her at work. I don’t know what’s happening, but falling, and getting up is not possible in the space. I’m glad she didn’t fall down, but I really wonder what did happen. I’m checking into cameras that can be connected to my iPad, too.

Tomorrow I will also start really looking into in-home care.

Yeah, trying to post or change pages or ANYthing here lately is getting more and more difficult, isn’t it?

Good that you’re able to take off tomorrow to get the ball rolling for a doctor for your mom. I sure does sound like things are escalating lately and doing it fast. The camera sounds like a great idea and in-home care does too. Things are starting to get dangerous for her to be alone. It’s good she didn’t fall today but you never know when she WILL fall and hurt herself badly. Having someone there will give you more peace of mind while you’re at work too.

It was very pleasant today. Only in the low 70s. I even cleaned some and didn’t work up a sweat. LOL!

I’ll bet your “blackberry winter” comes this weekend when it’s Easter. Seems we always have something chilly then no matter how late Easter is. So, I will be wearing a cardigan over whatever else I wear. LOL! If it rained again, I wouldn’t complain!

Oo, that was a pleasant temp today. We hit low 80s again but there was a nice breeze and that made it comfy.

It’s going to be toasty here through the weekend with that slight chance for rain Fri. and Sun. More chances next week with temps backing off into the mid to high 70s. That’ll work. Nights are still a bit cool with temps in the 50s.

Not sure how much longer you’ll be up but I’ll be back shortly. When I signed up for Medicare I was told I HAD to have a primary doctor and I made an appointment with one for tomorrow. Gonna grab a shower tonight so I don’t have to fool with it when I get up. I’m a slooooooow starter when I wake up. LOL

I empathize with your slow morning starts! We had to have a plumber today so I had to actually get DRESSED and get MAKEUP on earlier than noon! It was awful! LOL!

I hope you have chosen a doctor that has your best interests! There are so few of them! But I must say that so far, Medicare plus our supplement has taken care of all but a tiny bit of our medical bills. Hope this new president doesn’t muck up what little we have left. LOL!

Hope you get the rain they are “promising”! :)

Make-up before noon??? OUCH!! LOL!

I always get dressed right away because I never know when one of Hubby’s buddies might knock on the door but make-up only if I go out. Someone comes here, they have to deal with me sans the war paint. Sorry ‘bout their luck! hee!

From things I’ve heard about the dr. he seems like one of the good guys. I’ll start finding out tomorrow, I guess. If he turns out to be a dud, he’ll meet the Dragon Lady. I’m extremely down on the medical industry as a whole and won’t put up with Bovine Scatology.
Could be a good day, could be a bad one. Just have to wait to see how things go.

Looks like I’m slow at night too. LOL! Didn’t even notice the 50 was so close.

WOOHOO, you snagged it!

Well, hubby doesn’t have buddies dropping by, so I usually wait till after breakfast to get presentable, if that’s even possible. LOL!

Bovine Scatology!! ROFL! I haven’t heard that before but I like it! [I know...I should get out more. :) ]

A very pleasant good Thursday morning to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks or your service to our country.

((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. It's my birthday today. How's it going for you this morning?

Lucky you. Hubby’s buddies drop by all the time, unannounced. They go to the garage first and if he isn’t there it’s bang, bang, bang on the door.

I got Bovine Scatology from my fave radio talk show host, Phil Valentine, years ago and just love it.

Well, it’s a good saying! :)

Guess I’d better go get some sleep. No, I don’t have anything to get me up early tomorrow, but it is about that time.

See ya tomorrow!
