Something tells me the booking procedures will not look the same in a few years. These attorneys won’t care about the industry and it’s problems keeping schedules met. They will damage the profit margins and screw with an already stressed system.

Look, nobody wants to be bumped, but it’s the chance you take. Everyone is exposed to it. The airlines do compensate.

If you get bumped, take it like a man. Plan for that happening once in a while.

Getting bumped, asking for volunteers is fine but enforcing it with goons and dragging a 69 year old unconscious passenger off the plane is not right. Do you fly? Seems like most or all dismissing the passenger in various FR threads do not fly, some taking pride in how long since they last flew. No standing on topic. I fly nearly every week. I am at SeaTac now for Delta flight after speaking at conference today. I side with the passenger. His only mistake was to fly United.

BS. Only those who have retired, or those who are on welfare have the time to allow for day or more delay for the convenience of the airlines. If they want to deny boarding to people with a ticket, especially a NON-CANCELABLE ticket, they need to keep raising the incentive ($) until they are able to convince people to give up their seat(s).

But I believe our great lawmakers in collusion with the airlines made this illegal.

The airlines do compensate.

In 1996 I got kicked off an airliner (don't remember the airline) that landed from Frankfurt in Warsaw. I spent 26 hours sitting in an unyielding, hard-plastic, unupholstered banana seat until the next flight to my destination. I was offered no explanation (although I assumed it was overbooked) and no hotel or other compensation. I could not venture into the city because I had no visa.

Something tells me the colonoscopy procedures will not look the same in a few years! The attorneys will not care about the medical industry and its problems keeping schedules and unneeded tests met. They (the attorneys) will damage the (doctors) i.e. exact same to (airlines) profit margin and screw with an already stressed system.

Look, nobody wants to accidentally have their large intestine perforated, but it’s a chance you take! Everyone is exposed to it! The doctors do compensate (or malpractice insurance does, but you may be dead!). If you get perforated during a colonoscopy, take it like a man (or woman)!!! Plan for that happening once in a while. Let’s think like doughtyone /s

Read up on death by colonoscopy!
