Folks haven't used that "Armada" word in a long time. It does sound cool.

And I'm thinking we'll get to see what a couple of SSGNs can do when backed up by the Carl Vinson and George Washington Strike Groups.

At least the US has a real, even strategic, interest in disarming Fat Kim.

Someone from the Defense Department needs to sit Mr. Kim down and explain MIRV to him in fluent Hangul.

President Trump inherrited a mess in North Korea; to be fair, this one wasn’t Obama’s fault. Every sitting president since the Korean War has kicked the can on dealing with this.

Let’s hope it can be done with minimal loss of life.

It would be interesting to know what South Korea is thinking/saying right now. The US could take out the NK regime in a day, but there would likely be hell to pay in Seoul. An awful lot of nasty artillery, including chemical, likely to rain down in retaliation and not much we could do to stop it during the early part of the conflict. Seems like we would need (well, certainly want) the South to be 100% on board with a decision since there butt is hanging out most.

Kind of sounds like sending Spanish ships for battle back in the old days

Absolutely.

Since the Spanish Armada ended so well.

Why doesn’t Obama invite the Fat Nork Dwarf to visit Tahiti??!!

It would solve problems for both countries, keep those two clowns in permanent exiles in Tahiti.

Come to think of it, this would be a great blessing for the whole world.

I think you need more than six ships to make an armada—maybe 26 ships! Still each of these ships had more destructive power than the whole Spanish Armada in 1588.

No. They would go nuts and demand blood.

They literally place flowers under the photo of Il like every week. Lovingly. They LOVE their dear leaders.

The first declared nuke by the NORKS was in 2006, but most folks assess the first true “bang” was in mid-2008.

The other 4 tests can after Obama took office. As did all the longer range missiles.

OF COURSE every POTUS since Clinton, and including him, is complicit in the cowardice, but the South and Japan played a major role in mitigating the US response.

Armada. How many carriers is that?

That’s a lot of ships.

Doubt if the NORKS have a Drake or Hawkins available!

Each of those ships is as capable as 10-20 ships of the WWII era.

IT was Obama’s fault because for starters, he did nothing. President Obama was big on words, but did nothing that would have ever come back at him. He did many things to hurt America and We The People.
