I don’t think that matters in this situation. Mr. Kim is a bully and all bullies are cowards. This is what Trump is doing to him........

A few tactical nukes could stop it. So the question is use nuked on the massed NK artillery or lose several million South Koreans as Soul is gutted. I'd use the tactical nukes and save Soul.
It is a deterrent, silly. It is called a show of force to let an adversary know that they should not mess with us. This has been done many times in our history whether the ships are battleships or carriers. Every major naval power does it.
Armada is the correct term, I don’t think it’s anything odd, cool, mysterious and I don’t believe it’s an ancient rarely used term.
If the “oh $#!+” factor is elevated high enough somebody on his own team will take out the fat fart.
And ‘flotilla’ would’ve sounded ghey.
Be of good cheer. Not even the Kilrathi like that little twerp Kim.
My guess is that Trump wants to provoke them into making the first move.
I hope so
I am all warred out
This is 2017, artillery can be easily taken out by superior air and naval assets. I just don’t real big issue there. And what would take to have those in Seoul evacuate the city? In 24 hours that city could be nearly emptied.
lol!!
“I am sure his location is tracked at all times...very easy to take him out...”
Hopefully the intelligence community has ‘wire taps’ on not only Fat Boy’s phones and appliances, but those of every one of his closest advisors as well, rather than spending all their time on politicians here at home ;)
He probably won’t give them GPS coordinates and maps of their routes.
the spanish armada had 300 ships
“Whatever happened to loose lips sink ships?”
I think there is a message being sent. You have China putting more troops on the border. You have South Korea upping the ante and we are sending an armada up to the area. A whole different reaction to Kim’s antics then from the previous administration.
The George Washington Strike Group is homeported less than 1000 miles away and can be underway in less than 2 days.
Also, the Vinson Group has TWO Cruisers and 4 Destroyers.
And we’ve already mentioned the subs.
What has not been mentioned is the assets that are already in South Korea...F-35s, F-15s and other attack aircraft. The Japanese have considerable modern assets as well.
And, we have B-52s and B-1Bs on Guam at Andersen. A mere 6 hours at subsonic flight.
There are over 25 million people in greater Seoul, gonna take a lot longer then 24 hours to move them.
“NK has about 70 submarines”
Yeah, if you want to call them submarines.
Really? The North Koreans have satellites now?
