President Trump has ordered his military advisers to be ready with a list of options to smash North Koreas nuclear threat.
One of the advisers, Lieutenant General H. R. McMaster, confirmed his Commander-in-Chief has made the order as a U.S. carrier strike group heads for the region.
It is believed that among the options are combined special forces raids and pre-emptive missile strikes.
One of the problems facing an American-led operation to hit Pyongyangs leader Kim Jong-Un is the intricate tunnel network under the capital.
War-planners have had difficulty mapping out the subterranean complex and believe there are hundreds of underground artillery and airplane sites.
McMaster described the decision to redeploy the USS Carl Vinson to the Sea of Japan as prudent given North Koreas pattern of provocative behavior.

Marie got a bad rap.
The RATmedia was ignoring the spying so there is little loss there and any is overcompensated by the effect this is having on the world.
It is completely clear, we have TREATIES with the South Koreans and the Japanese (thanks to us) has no military capable of international use.
What is not clear about this?
Technically “we” are still at war with the Korean People’s Army which serves as some negative diplomatic psychological affect for the past 60+ years.
“Marie got a bad rap.”

If I am remembering my college history (35 years ago), I have a vague feeling that you are right.
I stand corrected. :)
She was kinda dingy but the remark “let them eat cake” was not the cake we know as cake.
“The 150,000 Chinese on N. K.s Northern border is not something Ill real pleased with.”
I hear that is fake news - never verified.
Oh no, my “I’ll” > “I’m” mistake is replicated. LOL Don’t like it when I make an error like that and hit send.
Thanks for mentioning that, fake news angle on the 150,000 troops. I’m somewhat relieved to hear it. I would however like China to be the ones to clean up that mess.
It’s their neighborhood. It will remain a Communist regime, but the new leadership could be a lot better for the country.
Course I’d like to see it go Western, but we can’t have everything.

You could be right, but it may very well turn into a Pyrrhic victory. Little fat Kim Jong-Un(stable) is not a sane man, but he has ultimate power in his country, a power on which he is quite intoxicated. When dealing with a lunatic, all bets are off. He is not rational, and will not hesitate to use his military might. Any military exchange, especially nuclear, will result in a lot of people dying, many of them not the ones we would like. I agree it is long overdue to give our enemies a good hard backhand, and Trump is the only one in decades with the balls to do it. However, it’s a pretty hollow victory if you are literally the last man standing.
Mark my words, we are seeing the beginning of the end of the endless Korean War.
There are very few Freepers who have lived during a time when that war wasn’t going on.
Most of us will now get to live to see it come to an end.
All it takes is one man with a vision.
I am sure that Trump sees the world without such a war, and he is determined to work towards it.
Don’t believe the worst case scenario. There won’t be a nuclear exchange. You are correct in that there will be massive casualties if war resumes in a big way. But I do not believe China will let that happen. Any war will see a massive flood of people over the border.
Fake news about commando/SEAL raids to get the Little Bastard. Would never happen. Now a JDAM might.
1. Our Carrier Group will be patrolling off North Korea’s Coast in International Waters.
2. The Norks will test fire another Missile in the general direction of our Fleet thinking we will do nothing.
3. We will respond after being “fired upon” by the Norks.
No matter what happens, the Norks will be held responsible for making the first move. I assume our Subs will be taking out any Nork Subs at Sea as soon as the Party starts.
OR, I’m wrong...
the Federal government has had ONE job assigned and has done everything BUT that job (and mostly the opposite of that job)
Article says: ‘Trump gave his military guys “orders to be ready” to deal with NK’s nuke threat.’
I’m sure he gave that “order” in January- so this is technically not a lie, but is being used as an excuse to write a slanted article....and then they attribute this being “confirmed” by a LT Gen. But it is NOT in quotes.
Then they stated: “It is BELIEVED that among the options are special forces...preemptive strikes” blah blah.
Believing something does not make it the truth.
I did proofreading for a paper for a while and part of my job was to ask the editor if he was ok with using stories written like this, no matter how big or small the topic. People sue, and I would not take responsibility for it being printed as such.
A couple of weeks ago I read that the ChiComs had cut off NK’s natural gas supply and then the other day they turned back a fleet of NK coal ships. So Trump has likely told the Chinese premier to lead, follow or get out of the way. Maybe its finally time to take Fatboy out.
