Trump orders military advisers to prepare plans to hit North Korea

President Trump has ordered his military advisers to be ready with a list of options to smash North Korea’s nuclear threat.

One of the advisers, Lieutenant General H. R. McMaster, confirmed his Commander-in-Chief has made the order as a U.S. carrier strike group heads for the region.

It is believed that among the options are combined special forces raids and pre-emptive missile strikes.

One of the problems facing an American-led operation to hit Pyongyang’s leader Kim Jong-Un is the intricate tunnel network under the capital.

War-planners have had difficulty mapping out the subterranean complex and believe there are hundreds of underground artillery and airplane sites.

McMaster described the decision to redeploy the USS Carl Vinson to the Sea of Japan as ‘prudent’ given North Korea’s ‘pattern of provocative behavior.’

But we can be sure that NK has their own PSYOP plans and so have each one of our adversaries.

Absolutely.

Look at the fear and terror on this thread.

However, the NKs and other adversaries had not factored POTUS Trump until he released the tomahawks last week.

All of enemies know about our fire power, up to now they didn’t have to worry about becoming targets of that fire power.

That changed last week in Syria.

Wouldn’t such actions against North Korea result in restarting the Korean War??

With any other President and CIC than Trump, yes.

This, however, is going to be the honest to goodness beginning of the end of the Korean War. After more than 65 endless years of war.

The UN is going to be beside itself.

Tillerson: China agrees on ‘action’ on North Korea as navy strike group sails

Secretary of state: ‘President Xi understands the situation has intensified’ Syria missile strike described by North as ‘intolerable act of aggression’

Edward Helmore and agencies Sunday 9 April 2017 15.31 BST

As the US navy deployed a strike group towards the western Pacific Ocean, to provide a presence near the Korean peninsula, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said China agrees with the Trump administration that “action has to be taken” regarding North Korea.

Tillerson told CBS’s Face the Nation, in an interview broadcast on Sunday, that when Donald Trump and Chinese president Xi Jinping met at Mar-a-Lago this week, they “had extensive discussions around the dangerous situation in North Korea”.

“President Xi clearly understands, and I think agrees, that the situation has intensified and has reached a certain level of threat that action has to be taken,” Tillerson said.

Tillerson described a “shared view and no disagreement as to how dangerous the situation has become”.

In view of the regional threat now posed by North Korean missile tests and nuclear ambitions, he said, the Chinese “do not believe the conditions are right today to engage in discussions with the government in Pyongyang”.

“We’re hopeful,” he added, “that we can work together with the Chinese to change the conditions in the minds of the DPRK leadership. And then, at that point, perhaps discussions may be useful.

In the final equation, China has much more to gain from removing their rabid dog. Trade with a unified Korea with no U.S. troops present is worth more than any semblance of protecting their little protege who is now run by an unhinged maniac with nuclear weapons.

They also have much prestige to gain in the international community. They are very big on prestige.

With that said....... I will believe it when I see it. This would set Putin back on his heels if it happened because China would love to expand north.

We have and have always had a plan for the Korean Pennisula. No need to make a plan when one already exists.

As several of the posters here have discussed, I think the end game of China and the US is the ouster of Kim by his own people.

I think that is probably the single best outcome of all the possible outcomes.

Loose lips sinks ships..... Here we go again. Just another bunch of media hounds in the WH administration OR are they a bunch of 5D chess players playing 8 moves ahead of their opponent with smoke and mirror news lines for distraction while they invade Antarctica?

Only time will tell how this turns out.

Meanwhile, I have filled my corn cribs with cracked corn and the still is running full out. Sugar, check....jars, check......lids, check.... Bring on the shooting war I got me some ring side seat medicinal Vodka for the Ruskies when they show up. Comrads!!!!!!!! Wrap your lips around this Mason Jar you commie basturd.

“...And they don’t even have to be nukes. Remember that we have those SSGNs, the converted Ohio-class boomers the now launch cruise missiles....”

We have at least 4 of em...maybe more by now. They’re bad to the bone. Just a couple of those alone have enough firepower (non-nukes) to take the little punk’s ass out in about 15 minutes. I suspect there is at least 2 of em lurking off the coast for some time now with targets already programmed in....just waiting for the orders.
