As a long-time lurker who decloaked as I could no longer stand in the wings, I believe since election day, many of us have gone from "this country is a lost cause" to "wait....we may be able to pull this thing back." And with good reason: Trump followed through on many of his promises and assembled a top-notch cabinet and retinue.

As I wrote elsewhere, old men forget; yet all shall be forgot. We are a scant 5% of the way into the Trump Administration. To ensure we remember, with advantages, what feats have been accomplished thus far - and the bullet we dodged - let me do a recasting of HarleyLady27's great listing of accomplishments, adjusted for life under Madame President:

– U.S. employers shed jobs beyond expectations in both January (238,000) and February (235,000), with the unemployment rate rising to 6.7% and wages contracting 2.8%.

– Hillary has expanded the U.S. debt burden by $68 billion dollars.

– The Philly Fed Index, a survey of how well manufacturers are doing and the NFIB Small Business Optimism Index are at their lowest levels in decades. Meanwhile the stock market keeps treading water.

– The Carrier plant in Indiana shut down, and Hasbro is to start making play-doh in Turkey.

– President Hillary Clinton signed an executive order expanding Obama’s onerous regulations on the coal industry while giving away billions to solar firms.

– Hillary worked with Democrats and scared Republicans into approving the Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal.

– Illegal immigration from Mexico is up 40 per cent in Hillary's first month, as the concept of a Wall lives on only in Pink Floyd's discography.

– Madame President issued an executive order to bolster “sanctuary cities” by accelerating federal funds to cities that harbor criminal illegal aliens.

– Obamacare is cemented into Leviathan like the IRS.

– Merrick Garland wrote the 5-4 opinion gutting the Second Amendment.

- Hillary killed the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Keystone Pipeline.

– Hillary increased funding for international abortions.

– Hillary ordered the DOJ to move with “flank speed" on a motion filed by former President Barack Obama seeking to allow transgender students in public schools to use the restroom with which they identify.

I am not advocating that we hold our tongue when we think errors need to be corrected. But I am recommending that we take a deep breath, consider the source of recent 'reports' of infighting, and contrast all that with what we sidestepped...

Hillary would have won, and she, and the evil she, and BJC are would have sold off our nation, our sovereignty, our freedoms to the international gang of thieves they, the Clinton’s favor.

The fair weather flock of chicken littles are whining about the Syrian bombings.

I assume President Trump had better intel than the various talkshow hosts and commentators and FR posters.

I don’t even listen to MSM and skip over most sky-is-falling headlines that usually turn out to be more rumor than fact.

That fair weather flock is looking for any excuse to abandon President Trump. I have no idea who they think would be a better alternative at this stage of national and world affairs.

Trump may stumble a bit but he learns fast. Our problem isn't with Trump, he's the one who can set things right. Our problem is with the fact that the US sees itself as the leader of the free world, a grand and laudable role we've played for the most part very well, but for the past twenty five years since the USSR fell the average folks have taken their eye off the ball and allowed the DC Bubble to be filled with people who no longer believe in a free world.

We've got to stick with it and help Trump drain the swamp by contesting every seat held by the Vichy Republicans or Democrat Fascists. Every seat, from local sheriff and school board right through Federal Senate seats.

We have someone as President who is willing to go to war against the scum in power, that only makes a difference if we're just as willing to go to war against them and have Trump's back.

I doubt I'll always agree with his decisions, but I don't have the same information or intrigues to deal with he does. We couldn't have a better guy as President at this time in history. The main thing I can do is, as you say, pray for him like it all depends on God and work locally like it all depends on me.
