American's terminal cancer
WND ^ | 4/9/2017 | Paul Bremmer

“Why Amnesty Makes Sense” reads the cover of a June 2007 issue of Time magazine, teasing an immigration story inside. “Is Your Baby Racist?” asks a 2009 Newsweek cover. And “Gender Revolution” blares a January 2017 National Geographic cover featuring a “transgender child.”

These three magazine covers, and many others like them, have something in common: They all reflect the increasingly irrational “progressive” worldview, according to journalist and best-selling author David Kupelian.

Our greatest problem may be government schools. Nevertheless, I think America’s progressive cancer will go into remission for awhile as I believe America will go into a resurgence of our Free Constitutional Republic.

Personally I think KA, MA and NY are America’s largest tumors.

I recently read an interview with Joni Mitchell, from 1985. Aside from the fact that people may not be fans of Joni Mitchell, I thought this was interesting — In 1985, California Hippie musician Joni Mitchell was all upset about the rampant censorship and repressive culture with the US. Obviously, she was no fan of Reagan.

But let’s see, the culture of 1985 vs the culture of 2017. Thirty-two years later, are we censored? Repressed? Have you seen any TV shows lately? Homosexual marriage? Transgender issues? Miley Cyrus?

BUT ... if anyone today were to hint that maybe — MAYBE — we’ve gone just a tad too far in favor of neo pagan decadence, a great hue and cry would commence about the “rampant censorship and repressive culture with the US”.

The hard Left has been pushing and pushing and pushing and it is “unthinkable” to these people that perhaps they gone too far. No no no! The “problem”, they’ll tell you, is that they haven’t pushed hard enough!

Agreed.

And if it’s the right pushing, it’s oppression.

If it’s the Left pushing, why it’s the best thing eva...

...even if the nation’s existence is on the line.

What, no illegal aliens?

What, no sanctuary cities?

What, no Islamic terrorists?

What, you’re calling that an act of terrorism?

What, you want a moratorium on immigrants from terrorist states?

What, you don’t want Iran to have nukes?

And the list goes on...

Foremost among the reasons I despise the democrat party is its destructive nature. It builds nothing; it exists to destroy. In the name of social justice, it corrupts and soils every previously noble institution it comes to dominate. ‘Divide and conquer’ is a tactic as old as warfare, and one which the democrat party puts to skilled use for its nefarious goals. Together with their fellow travelers in the media, they exploit every possible Alinsky distinction in race, wealth, education, gender, and sexual orientation. Keep society back on its heels. Keep various factions at each other’s throats, all the while lying when they profess to bring the nation together.

An objective observer must conclude the purpose of the democrat party is the destruction of the civil society on which republics depend. Do democrats praise public virtue, talent, and patriotism, or do they regard them as mortal sins against social justice? Such is their lust for power, the democrat party would rather oversee an America in decline than be bystanders in a united, prosperous, and happy republic. Their globalist candidate lost, and they are gunning to not only stymie President Trump’s efforts, they intend to remove him from office. As their thinking goes, once President Trump and the GOP are disgraced, the democrat nominee, no matter who he or she is, will stroll into office in 2020. Jimmy Carter wasn’t elected in 1976 because of his presidential qualities; he was elected because he wasn’t a Republican.

That’s not only a good series of observations of the obvious, it’s fertile ground to develop something much more extensive out of.

It really pegs the Democrats for their negativity.

It doesn’t fully explain why, what motivates them, who they are and what their journey has been.

During the McCarthy hearing days, he made some dire predictions and other joined with him.

Here we are today, him being besmirched, and parts of it deservedly so, but in the overall scheme of things he was exactly right about what would happen, and yet not right for not taking his predictions far enough.

Who in those days could really picture people in the U. S. actually voting for a foreign national who hated the United States so much, he help destroy it as much as he possibly could. Who could see him funding and arming the enemies of our nation? Who could know there would be John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Hillary Clinton cheering him on for much of it?

Lots of offshoots from your post. Thanks.

FWIW, I took a look at the ideal of a chief executive of the United States:

I've always thought that liberalism is more like gangrene.

It needs to be cut out before it kills.

I see the Dems motive as being satanic, in that they are motivated by the same desire: pride, and a subsequent desire for power over others. They are willing to tear apart America so that they can then rule over it. Their egotistical pride can not let them admit their limitations and so they think that they are incorruptible, all-wise and can have limitless resources in constructing a utopian society. All of this is counter to the Christian (and Founding Fathers) view of mankind as flawed and thus needing to be limited by a balance of power. Dems think that they are superior both morally and intellectually and so they justify any means to reach their vision of utopia with themselves ruling over all. As a result, politics is their religion since it is the means to achieve their vision of heaven on earth.
