Nigel Farage and other right-wing populists turn on Donald Trump after missile strikes
Telegraph UK ^ | 7 April 2017 | Helena Horton

Many former Donald Trump supporters have turned on the President after his decision to retaliate against the Assad regime for its chemical weapons attack.

Nigel Farage, Milo Yiannopoulos Katie Hopkins, right-wing vlogger Paul Joseph Watson, Ukip leader Paul Nuttall and Ukip donor Arron Banks are among the Trump supporters who have been disappointed by their hero.

Mr Farage said: "I am very surprised by this. I think a lot of Trump voters will be waking up this morning and scratching their heads and saying 'where will it all end?'

With his obsession with Paul Ryan and other establishment types and his attack on the Freedom Caucus I think Trump is reverting back to what he always was and that’s a moderate republican. He has an intense desire, for what reason I don’t know, for the Washington DC establishment to love him. He can’t get it through his head that they hated him and tried everything in their power to elect Hillary Clinton. The common man got Trump elected. He got no help whatsoever from the GOPe. He said he would go to Washington to drain the swamp and he’s turning into part of the swamp. I thought Steve Bannon could talk some sense into him but I don’t think anybody can. He does what he feels like doing. Hell it wouldn’t surprise me if got Ari Fleisure to be his White House spokesman, another Never-Trumper who talked about him like he was a dog for the last two years. By the way Paul Ryan wants Trump gone so his establishment pal Mike Pence would become president.

This exactly why I HATE social media. So many rumours and fake news spreads like wildfire as actual news stories. Where did this guy get the info Trump is going fire Bannon and Priebus? Where did he get the info he is replacing them with Gary Cohn and Kevin McCarthy? No names, no sources, no nothing.

Tired of “I read it on Facebook or Twitter”

I’m a little disappointed, but not overly concerned. I was prepared from day one for some disappointments, no one is perfect. I’m more concerned with getting illegal immigration under control, getting the wall built, and brining back jobs. So far, illegal border crossings are down by about 60 percent, deportations of criminal aliens is up, bids are being taken on the wall, and jobs are increasing. Plus, we now have a new Supreme Court justice, and hopefully another one before long.

Now that Trump is President, he sees intelligence that he didn’t have previously.

The world is not only a dangerous place, but it is interconnected in many ways.

Our enemies only understand and respect force...and, because of Obama, they had lost respect for the U.S. And that lack of respect created a vacuum of leadership in the world, making an already dangerous world even more dangerous.

Trump had to send a message. And he did.

He filled that vacuum of leadership.

Russia got it, Syria got it, ISIS got it...Iran, China, North Korea got it. Radical Islamists all around the world got it.

Our allies got it. The Deep State got it.

The U.S. is back.

100% of nationalists in Europe oppose Trump’s idiotic attack on Syria. Young American nationalists take their cue from them. This is a disaster for Trump that will cost him, already has cost him, his most passionate and active supporters. The people who will go to rallies, protests, do social media activism. In their place, Trump is getting support from elderly globalists who oppose everything Trump ran on and who will do no effective activism.

You say this as if you are saying Trump is a puppet or a stooge without giving him any credibility that he cannot logically deduce all sides of an argument or what information he was privy to.

I’d say as a businessman had he done what you infer he’d be homeless. However those skills don’t leave you just because you take on a different leadership role. They still apply.

The way I look at this is using the WMDs as an excuse Trump sent a message to other parts of the world where US interests are in play, mainly North Korea. If 59 cruise missiles bring the Chinese to the table and they reign in Kim El Nut job then mission accomplished.

Personally, I think the gop forced Trump to push ryancare and he knew it would fail so he was letting ryan have his fail to try and help shut him up.

I highly doubt Ron and Rand or anyone else claiming false flag has better intel than Mattis and McMaster. Talking about must be a false flag because of the first responders not wearing protection. Do they even know any better?

It’s no wonder the Left almost took over. They stick together while conservatives self divide to be conquered.

President Trump gained a lot of respect from people way more important than us. All for blowing up a mostly evacuated airbase that possibly had CWs. If that helps him get some more good done, I call it a win. He can gain back the lost love later. I think the SC court appointment is a way bigger plus than this missile thing is a negative. Deregulation underway. He’s gotten a lot of good done considering.

Russia ain’t gonna do squat. No word on China that I’ve read. Xi’s probably reeling over the timing, Trump’s big blass baws and stunning azz wife.

I’m disappointed as well. We wanted an AG who would go after the Clinton crime machine instead the new AG gins up a new drug war, on marijuana of all things. Now, Trump’s going be the policeman of the world. Replace Assad with what exactly??? Same sh**, different day.

“I’m not sure I can support him anymore. “

You’re now suddenly an nevertrumper? Because you disagree with ONE thing he did out of dozens of positive actions he’s taken recently?

If we had proof that Syria used sarin on its own people or anyone, I could justify a military commander in Syria wanting to send them a very clear message. We do have many troops in Syria. Recently we were told of artillery men and of Strykers who had been deployed to Syria to operate with our other special forces in the fight against Isis.

The use of sarin in that combat torn foreign country, would constitute a force security threat to anyone Assad would consider to be an enemy. That would be us.

So, if I were a commander with troops on the ground I would take some action against anyone who used sarin gas in my space, and with jet airplanes in play my force security space is really big.

However, we do not have proof that Assad was behind the sarin attack.

Pictures do not constitute proof.
