The public university that gave us Melissa “Muscle” Click – and announced open season on student journalists that try to cover social justice warriors – continues to suffer fallout from the November 2015 melee.
The University of Missouri is shutting down three dorms next year because of low freshman enrollment.
Technically they are being taken “offline” to see if enrollment bumps back up, and “most or all” staff will keep their jobs, Residential Life Director Frankie Minor said in an email.
This is on top of four other dorms that were already scheduled to go “offline” because of plummeting enrollment. Two of them – no joke – are named “Respect” and “Excellence.”
Mizzou is also canceling eight “Freshman Interest Groups due to low anticipated demand.”

“Respect” and “Excellence” are going down in Mizzou.
Parents that have to pay for college because their skin color is different aren’t interested in schools like this.
Missouri will be lucky to gain acceptance in the MWC in a few years. The SEC will kick their asses out for Louisville and the Big 12 will not take them back.
I’m surprised there is not a dorm with the name “Dignity”.

Some tuition paying parents either still aren’t paying attention to the Train Wreck of a college system, or they support all the pretentious upheaval.
Damn shame, too, because Mizzou has an outstanding journalism program. But the lack of respect for the truth, and for fair ans balanced reporting—including strong-arming journalists from covering legitimate news—has crippled the school.
And they do nothing but bury the lede.
I wonder whether there is a report of community college admissions skyrocketing in the area.
If you just go and rank recruitment for sports...it’s a hard sell for some 4-star HS recruit to sign up. They will find mostly 3-star names, and the decline will take five or six years....but it’ll be a major problem by 2025.

When you repeatedly demonstrate that you are both gutless and incompetent it tends to damage your brand. People don’t have to go to an institution that abjectly surrenders to screaming morons.

Missouri is only facing this kind of backlash because their SJW’s were put on full display.
Every college is just as bad, just not on TV.
Mr. RR and I both attended Mizzou. Class of ‘69 grads. It was, at that time, an ultra conservative university, and well-respected.
So sad to see what has become of it.
I can understand a bit of uncontrollable behavior. But missing class and turning a blond eye... compounded with not being held accountable through the GPA is inexcusable.
Guess what? #RealAmericans aren’t buying the crap you #FakeAmericans are selling.

Most college dorms hold about 200 kids or so. So if Mizzou has SEVEN dorms shut down, that is HUGE!
And checking their website, they have 16 dorms open (with 8 closed), so that means about 1/3 of their potential freshman class is simply not there. Damn.
Wake us when the Mizzou administrators start getting fired. Somehow the ones most responsible will not have to pay for destroying the university.
