If he lost or never was approved for a TS Clearance, he cannot be in those meetings.
There is a fundamental lack of understanding as to how clearances work. A person with NSC level clearance would have access to virtually all secrets short of those for the President’s eyes only.
You could lose that and still have “read in” clearance into almost any program on a need to know basis.
I was “read into” the National Aerospace Plane program, a secret hypersonic aircraft program-—but I had no access whatsoever to the B-2, or cruise missile, or anything else.
People ought to be a little restrained before jumping to conclusions that x or y “won” any power struggle.
Kinda. But need to know is the bottom line.
Hmmmm. Portion of Pence’s deal with the Freedom Caucus?
reading your posts is like listening to MSNBC
Ahh ... do you have a FACTUAL link to his “losing his security clearance”? Or is this just RINO/Uniparty crap being thrown about?
Why put this out now? It tramples all over the Susan Rice story.
I’m guessing you really dislike President Trump and are still holding out for Cruz would be a much better president. Or maybe Hillary?
So help me God if Rush passed on fake clearance-stripping ‘news’, I will troll him daily until his contract is yanked.
He knows better than this.
Bannon can't have all of his security clearances stripped from him. He would not even be allowed to have an office in the WH if that were the case. And without a security clearance, he couldn't work in the administration as a federal employee.
Trump is clearing up any appearance of political influence in Intelligence because they are going after Rice and the Obama crowd.
I see Trump as only slowing down the speed of train wreck. Hitlery would have pushed the throttle all the way forward.
Gross
If you structure the NSC to keep an eye on your National Security Advisor then why the hell was he your National Security Advisor to begin with?
If he’s the Easter Bunny, he can’t be in those meetings. See, I can make as preposterous and unfounded a statement as you can.
Isn’t most classified info accessed on a need-to-know basis? IOW, if you don’t need to know it, you don’t get to see it, no matter what your security clearance is? If Bannon still has access to the POTUS, could this action be to protect Bannon?
Sounds like no he can't, and apparently his need to be on the counsel in the first place is gone.
Bannon’s statement I posted in the other thread is everywhere and originates from the WSJ.
Just what’s on Drudge, which I agree may not be correct.
Not only that, Bannon probably doesn’t want or need all the pings and alerts that come with clearance to the NSC. He seems satisfied, via his statement, that all is going well with NSC now.
