Vanity: Russian Conspiracy Theory, CrowdStrike, and the Atlantic Counsel

Posted on 04/04/2017 9:12:52 PM PDT by TigerClaws

The key to all of this is the Atlantic Council. The vehemently anti-russian think tank that Dr. Farkas is a senior fellow.

Most people think that the FBI analyzed the DNC servers and came to the conclusion based on their analysis that Russia hacked the DNC. That is not true. The DNC refused to let the FBI look at their servers. Instead the DNC hired a private company, Crowdstrike, to do an analysis of their servers. It was Crowdstrike that concluded that Russia hacked the DNC. They then turned over those findings to the FBI.

If this sounds incredibly shady its because it is. While private companies do such analysis its very odd that in a case where national security is involved that FBI/CIA analysts were not allowed to do their own analysis of the evidence. This isn't someone hacking card readers at a McDonald's. This is a hack of the DNC during the presidential campaign. That the FBI was not allowed to look at the servers is unconscionable. It sounds eerily similar to the Duke lacrosse rape case. Nifong didn't let the state forensic office analyze the evidence. Instead he hired a private company to do it and that componay found what Nifong wanted them to find.

So what do we know about Crowdstrike? Well Crowdstrike was founded by Dmitri Alperovitch, a Ukrainian National, who just like Dr. Farkas is a fellow at, you guessed it, Atlantic Council. Crowstrike also received major funding for the pro-Obama/Hillary folks at Google.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/01/06/dnc-russian-hacking-conclusion-comes-google-linked-firm/

$100 million invested by Google into CrowdStrike:

https://www.crowdstrike.com/resources/crowdstrike-closes-100-million-financing-round-led-google-capital/

The "17 intelligence agencies" that said Russians hacked the DNC relied solely on a report written by a private company to draw conclusions on the "Russian hacking." Is that reasonable?

So we have one senior fellow at this Atlantic think tank pushing for the administration to get and disseminate everything they can on a Trump/Russia connection and we have this other senior fellow at the Atlantic council Dmitri Alperovitch establishing the case that it was Russia that hacked the DNC.

Now answer me this. I'm sure Crowdstrike has a good reputation in most circumstances, but can a company founded by a vehemently anti-Russian Ukrainian, who is a member of this vehemently anti-Russian think tank, be trusted to do a fair unbiased analysis when there is a question of Russian involvement?

Who else is a member of the Atlantic Council? Susan Rice.

Oh, and who funds the group? George Soros.

Hoping some 'real reporters' here on FR do further research on this.

This 'Russian thing' and the fallout (SpyGate) will define the Trump presidency. A U.S. Senator tonight said he wouldn't vote for Trump's SCOTUS pick because Trump would likely be impeached soon. Another Democrat from the House said Trump associates would be going to jail.

We need to connect the dots on who invented this conspiracy theory, why, and how they weaponized the intelligence agencies for political purposes.

You are off to a good start connecting the dots. The neocons want their war for Ukraine. They want to oust Assad for gas pipelines, what do they want in Ukraine?

CrowdStrike also had gotten caught in giving out some false information about some damage done to Ukraine by Russia.

Certain Democrats are sure of Impeachment because either they believe they have an understanding with Speaker Ryan. I expect a move toward Impeachment before the middle of next year and Ryan to be the driver of it. That is assuming that Trump doesn’t see it coming and doesn’t derail it. Who here believes that Trump doesn’t see it coming and/or can’t turn it against the connivers?

Great work. The whole system is so corrupt it stinks up the place. Everyone knows I’ve worked for ages on Harry Reid’s mafia bribes. However Harry leads to the Clean Energy Project, Valerie Jarrett, and Finally John Podesta. Podesta links to Joule Energy and then to two major Russian players who provided $35 milion. All the same stinking manure pile.

Susan Rice was a director at the Atlantic Council,.... Alperovitch (Co-founder of Crowdstrike a 3rd party company is funded by Google and knee deep in Hillary donors),

Chalupa, Farkas, Rice – all are associated with the Atlantic Council.

Atlantic Council is a globalist group of I’ll scratch your back and you scratch mine. Some interesting reading at there tweets and site.....they are always up to no good.

I certainly appreciate what you’re saying......when you start investigating these people and who they see and associate with the slimy tentacles just keep branching out further and further.

But then you pick up a couple gemstones along the way you didn’t know.....just a couple days ago I learned the person who filed ‘the complaint’ to stop Trump in Hawaii was a Muslim Imam who’s Mosque is associated with Muslim Brotherhood....then I learned Obama had arrived in Hawaii just a short time before that....so suddenly a 43 page complaint is handed in. .....so looks like it was already prepared outside of Hawaii.... simply rolled out in Hawaii.

The judge in Hawaii was a classmate at Harvard of Obama.
It was all a set up.

But I believe Trump is playing a long game. RBG is dying and Trump wants one of his conservatives (his list of potentials) to replace her. He has to show the Court system is the problem so he can get his 3 or 4 picks. Thomas and Kennedy want to retire. Ruth Bader is dying. That’d be FOUR PICKS.

Great post.

Crowdstrike is the ONLY group to have hands on the DNC servers.

The DNC servers being ‘hacked by Russians’ is entirely based on the Crowdstrike report.

It’s a conspiracy theory created to keep the wedge there between the U.S. and Russia and to throw mud on Trump for supposed Russian ties.

The details of exactly how Crowdstrike came to the conclusion that Russia hacked the DNC servers needs to be discovered.

And it comes to mind that certain hackers are potentially able to cover their tracks and make it look like a foreign entity did the hacking. So one question would be: did this sort of event have any effect on the Crowdstrike conclusion that Russia did the hacking? There are multiple possible scenarios here.

I want to know Comey’s answer to the following question which to my knowledge has never been asked of him.

Regarding Hillary’s server, he stated that while it was possible her illegal private State Department server may have been hacked by Russia, it was impossible to ascertain because Russia is expert at covering their cyber tracks.

Regarding the DNC and Podesta “hacks”, Russia supposedly left common easy to discover malware such as fancy bear. Why so sloppy thus time?
