I think Graham has said something similar. Hopefully this will be completed this week.

Now that is something I didn’t think I was ever going to see. I wonder what’s up with Linda now? Will she get stage fright and back down, too?

I may be wrong but I believe that the ONLY Republican at this point that has not said 100% unequivocally they would support the nuclear option is Susan Collins, who said she remains “undecided” and “hopes it doesn't come to that”, but with the other 51 on board her vote isn't needed anyway so McConnell might give her a pass to vote no.

I don’t know, he already gave Collins a pass to vote no on Betsy DeVos. I suspect that McConnell will want unanimity this time.

I don’t like McConnell but he is a pragmatic Survivor. He cares more about the benefits of his position than the politics. He will go along with this.

McConnell has always picked up where the wind is blowing. I still dislike him.

“Stand Strong Mitch! (There’s a first time for everything!)”

That’s a fact! Count on him to do something stupid before this is over...

Oh, the “horror” of a unified Republican Senate. Will modern miracles never cease?
After this vote McConnell will have the vapors!

Well, whoopie-doo! “Songbird” McCain found a camera and mic to say he agrees with about 96% of other Pubbie Senators.

I’m sure it was a difficult decision to break from Schumer’s opposition policies.

same here. I’m pretty sure he said a month ago it was off the table. But like I said, he does what’s best for him. And approving it in this case is best for him

To be fair, McConnell is the only reason we are even talking about confirming Gorsuch. He refused to cave on giving Garland consideration and kept the SCOTUS opening available for a potential GOP president.

The headline calls him “U.S Sen John McCain” to explain to those who don’t know from his words or deeds which country he purportedly serves.

Yes, this is Mitch’s show, and he has for once , done a good job. Lets hope he’s half as accurate on health care and tax reform.

Mitch seems to sit quietly in the weeds ,for years if he has to, just to get payback.Much better to nail the opposition right up front.
