The White House released First Lady Melania Trump's official portrait on Monday.

The photograph of Melania is set in the White House with her arms folded as she looks into the camera. It appears on the first lady's official profile on the White House website adjacent to her biography

I saw her smile other times, but that frown/glare of hers is what I remember most.

It's called "Resting Bitch Face". She got it from her mom and her oldest daughter got it from Mooch.

No matter how it’s stated, the body language is not warm in that photo. Maybe, as you indicated, Melania wanted to convey an “I mean business” vibe with it. As a former model, she knows how to pose for different effects. The photo just isn’t my cup of tea, as mentioned not only for her crossed arms, but because of the busy background. My preference is for warmer images.
