President Donald Trump sent a blunt warning Thursday morning to the Freedom Caucus, demanding the House GOP group that blocked the Obamacare repeal bill stop fighting the ‘Republican agenda’.
Trump posted to Twitter, “The Freedom Caucus will hurt the entire Republican agenda if they don’t get on the team, & fast. We must fight them, & Dems, in 2018!”

We have been doing things. First off, we got Regan elected, twice. We have been working against the things you speak about ... but the GOP is not a party of conservatives. After Regan, it took a while for many to understand this. Here in Colorado, that is why we worked so hard to get the national GOP party bosses out of our primary process and turned it over to the grass roots. In 1992 the original caucus system was supplanted by the party primary and put the party bosses in charge. It took us until 2004 to fully restore the caucus system.
We have pushed to have a unified CCW system and allowed for carry in the state universities. We passed the taxpayers bill of rights (TABOR) to limit the growth of government. However our state is a magnet for liberals wanting to leave Kalifornia. So we end up being a split state that also passed things that should not have gotten through.
That is what we have been doing for decades. What have you been doing?

I agree. What we believe we believe for a reason. We can defend it. I realize compromise is necessary in democracy, but it’s not about giving up your soul, your bottom line, just so you can pretend that you won. We want real conservative reform. We want health care for all, but not statism.

I am a strong Trump supporter but not to the point I will agree with him when he is wrong. He is totally wrong on this.
He is only proving he is a politician or afraid! The Swamp may engulf him.

Well, now we know he DOESN’T HAVE THE CLASS OF RONALD REAGAN.

This is a defenseless statement but many here will try.
That his left wing daughter has a room in west wing was a small warning.
What gets me is that he NEVER even TRIED to twist the RINO’s arms.
I voted for Tom Tancredo for Gov here in Colorado, but the GOPe decided that they would rather have a Dem in office than support Tom’s positions against illegals. So my experience is that the GOP only wants conservative votes and doesn’t give a damn about supporting conservative values, positions or candidates UNLESS it gets them another vote.
And yes, I have been working to support conservative candidates and causes for 27 years. Actually just a tad bit longer than that - I am 52 years old and have been supporting conservative causes since I turned 20. I have always voted and when I am able, I volunteer and attend rallies for positions that I support. Though I will admit that some years that it has not been possible to man the phone banks because I was either out of country working or I was recovering from some recent surgeries.
Not “amazing” just hard work and a willingness to spend a few hours supporting something I believe in.
