Actor Richard Dreyfuss says he made a mistake in voting for Hillary Clinton in 2016, but that didnt mean he had nice things to say about President Donald Trump.
In an interview Tuesday on Fox News Your World with Neil Cavuto, the Oscar-winning actor and star of the new FOX show Shots Fired said he did vote for Clinton and I regret it.
Because Hillary is too much of a bought-and-paid-for Wall Street Dreyfuss explained, trailing off.
When asked about tax reform and the presidents proposed defense budget spending increases, Dreyfuss replied by calling Trump an idiot who should not have been elected president.
I think hes an idiot. I think that Donald Trump is not the one to be trusted about any of the details, Dreyfuss said, adding that Trump is something, like with a big funny nose.

I can just imagine if The Donald had said something about Richard having a big funny nose.
He must be a really smart guy, what with that toothpick in his mouth and all... He is mighty free slinging that ‘idiot’ word at someone he doesn’t agree with. And he is pissed at Hillary because he voted for her but she didn’t win.
If it bleats like a Hollywood leftist and it tweets like a hollywood leftist....
The shark ate the wrong guy.
No. He’s a mediocre actor long past his very low peak.
What has Dreyfuss ever done except read other people’s scripts? He is a trained monkey who has never created anything or done anything of substance in his entire life.
I hope the left keeps insisting on underestimating the president. Trump has already benefited from that on many occasions. Does anyone rational and not clouded by hatred doubt that Trump, who created and ran a multi-billion dollar organization that controlled 500 businesses and properties and who found a way to win the presidency against all odds, isnt vastly smarter and more capable than the actor Richard Dreyfuss? Oh well, at least professional clown Dreyfuss is bright enough to realize Hillary was a horrible choice.
Plus he left Teri Garr when she was really hot. I would have told the aliens to go without me, I’ll work my marriage out.
Complaining of a lack of common decency and calling the President an idiot. Hypocrite.
Let's re-write this script..."Dreyfus thinks he's a smart guy which he isn't, and, by the way, who even cares if he regrets voting for Hillary? Since most conservatives are already boycotting Hollywood, Dreyfus is just ANOTHER punk leftist actor to add to the list of the many reasons to boycott Hollyweird."
There...I should get and "A" for excellence in editing, LOL.
Leni
I liked him in Goodbye Girl and Mr. Holland’s Opus, very much.
But, he is vicious Left, so why Cavuto who is suppose to have a brain would be remotely inclined to bring him on his show, I’m sure I don’t know. Cavuto knows what comes with Dreyfuss.. his mouth. Cavuto got to sit there and play the “tsk, tsk” routine a time or two, to be seen scolding mildly, but then turned to ask some beard stroking financial question, in order to make up for the scold.
As if Richard Dreyfuss were E.F. Hutton and everyone freezes in place and listens. Ghack!
He is also broke despite making multimillions over his long career.
But he's smarter than the sober guy who is a billionaire.
It is long past time to boycott Hollywood. They can move to an Islamic country since they stand up for them. Perhaps then we will get some good products coming out to theaters. I would love to see how they fare in a Muslim country. Dreyfus is not smart, except perhaps a smart ass.
Oh, I see the logic now....He calls The Commander in Chief an idiot to make his point that there is a common decency problem..........woops, I’m confused again.
This from a slick moron whose claim to fame is living fake multiple lives invented by other morons.
Slick words from all his movies? Mostly forgettable?
His dog?
His psychiatrist?
This
“He wasnt too bad in American Graffiti, but it was downhill from there.”
He was pretty good when he played a music teacher; that being said his acting skills or lack thereof have nothing to do with his complete lack of knowledge concerning governing and political reality.
It did in the book. Spielberg saved his sorry @$$ in the movie version. :-(
To #23> Bruce. Calling Bruce. Lunch at Hollywood and Vine.
