President Donald Trump's job approval rating fell to 36% for the three-day period of March 24-26, following Republican House leaders' failed effort to pass a new healthcare bill that would have replaced the Affordable Care Act.
Trump's three-day reading prior to Friday's events was 41%. His previous low point was 37%, recorded March 16-18. His highest reading was 46% in the week following his Jan. 20 inauguration, and he has averaged 42% for his term to date.
Trump's current 36% is two percentage points below Barack Obama's low point of 38%, recorded in 2011 and 2014. Trump has also edged below Bill Clinton's all-time low of 37%, recorded in the summer of 1993, his first year in office, as well as Gerald Ford's 37% low point in January and March 1975. John F. Kennedy's lowest approval rating was 56%; Dwight Eisenhower's was 48%.
Presidents George W. Bush (lowest approval rating: 25%), George H.W. Bush (29%), Ronald Reagan (35%), Jimmy Carter (28%), Richard Nixon (24%), Lyndon Johnson (35%) and Harry Truman (22%) all had job approval ratings lower than 36% at least once during their administrations.

At least she’s finally 50 points ahead...
Trump shouldn't care about what non-citizen "Adults" think about the President's popularity.

Bull. I was polled on March 26, and I gave him 100% approval.
They assured me that I was the only person they would sample. Of course, the polling result error margin, they conceded, was +- 100%.
Then again, I don't trust anything the MSM puts out. If they say the sky is blue - I'm going to go check. Basically the MSM has reached absolute zero credibility.
It is beyond pathetic that our national news media is nothing but a propaganda machine for the Democrat Party, and it’s blatant. They don’t go to any lengths to hide it anymore. I avoid watching any alphabet news broadcast or any of the cable shows now. I like my big screen TV and don’t want any harm done to it, as in me throwing something at it when some lefty puke is on the air.
Oh B.S.
So true.......so true
Give it a month. They think by removing a point a day that it will seem more “realistic” a drop. Of course, his real approval ratings are in the mid-50s (at minimum). If he was in the 30s, he couldn’t hold such rallies across the country without most of the audience being a lynch mob.
Gallup had Trump at 37% in its final poll just before the election (poll taken Nov 1-6 2016).
There’s at least some truth to this poll. Americans wanted to be rid of the beast called ObamaCare. Trump was ready to repackage it and give it back to us.
So what? The fat lady hasn’t even sang a note yet.
Yep. Anyone seen JimRob’s editorials on the subject of Medicine? Trump is a NY Republican, which is not the same as a Red State Republican. He is non-ideological. Never mentions Constitutional Republic or Laissez-Faire Capitalism. I voted for him solely because he was the only man who’d fight the machine.
The agenda tone of the uniparty medias coverage of trump during his first 100 days is the exact opposite of their coverage agenda of obamas first 100 days.
You only run stories as negative as possible, you will influence your polls to go negative.
Who is shocked?
Theres at least some truth to this poll. Americans wanted to be rid of the beast called ObamaCare. Trump was ready to repackage it and give it back to us.
I think Trump let Paul Ryan have his day in the spotlight. Ryan came up short. Trump will regroup and come back with a better plan that will pass.
It’s certainly not the end of the road for Trump getting something done on healthcare. obama didn’t get obamacare through the first time either.
I don’t believe it will be long before action is taken on obamacare. It really is only a matter of time because obamacare is a train wreck happening right before our eyes.
I am with you on both Ryan and Comey.
Fake poll!
Are these the same polls that showed Trump losing last November? Why do we still believe the polls?
