Devin Nunes is being left all alone. I see no FR article in “search” about the almost unanimous cry from Dems that he recuse himself for “secret” White House meeting, which is now conflated with secret meetings with Russian spies. Pelosi, Schumer, all of them screaming their butts off, and Nunes is in the wind. Only Ryan is saying “he has confidence in him” (for now). The GOP is so gutless. Of course the White House can’t say anything in support or they and he will be condemned as colluding!
When you become the boss, you work the way your boss wants you to. If the boss is going to follow the Constitution of the United States, you are bound by law.
Sessions just put out the notice. His world will be our world. If NY and SanFran want to go up against DC then they have wildly mis-calculated the power of the Fed.
If they think AG Sessions’ manners betray weakness, well bless their hearts.

I don’t think President Trump can just fire the Director of the FBI. The director does have some autonomy and for good reason. Trump/Sessions can build a good case against Comey and force a resignation but that will take some time.
arrest them for contempt of Congress.
The best course of action here is to let all of those @ssholes clamor for him to recuse himself. They look terrible and compromised in the process.

As anyone will tell you, real guts doesn't appear until your back is against the wall.
Then and only then, do you meet your true self.

Most of us are killers. We will do what must be done.

There are men still serving time from when he was a prosecutor.
The entire administration, IMHO, is waiting on the Gorsuch appointment to the Supreme Court before bombing Comey/Rogers, and even for enforcing federal law in sanctuary cities, and for many other outstanding actions.
Sessions is in a bind. Trump is in a bind. We are either playing footsie with these Leftists, or stuck on freeze.
The Dems want to keep them that way and are stalling, because all of this is headed to the Supreme Court.
