Over a mere two decades, the Pentagon lost track of a mind-numbing $10 trillion thats trillion, with a fat, taxpayer-funded T and no one, not even the Department of Defense, knows where it went or on what it was spent.
Even though audits of all federal agencies became mandatory in 1996, the Pentagon has apparently made itself an exception, and fully 20 years later stands obstinately orotund in never having complied.
Because, as defense officials insist summoning their best impudent adolescent an audit would take too long and, unironically, cost too much.

I came into the Army at the very end of the pay by cash era.
I had to wear a pistol and go with an armed guard to the finance office to draw cash to pay Soldiers.
It was made ABUNDANTLY clear to me that any money that came up missing would come out of my paycheck. Cash blew away with the wind? It would come out of my pay. Bills stick together? It would come out of my pay. Robbed? It would come out of my pay.
And I didn’t make a lot of money.
And then I would go to prison.
What the heck happened?
“We’ll hang from nooses.”
Don’t say it’d be too expensive to audit. It’s our money and that’s one expensive effort that I’d be FINE with. We all know why you people don’t want an audit!
I was going to post...
“Starships are expensive.”

DOD tries to do too many things that have zero to do with Defense.
1. Eliminate all Diversity and similar snowflake programs. Tell every single person at the DOD it is their job to obey the law. Period. Simple.
2. Eliminate Climate Change initiative. Regardless of what is the truth on Climate Change it has zero to do with DOD.
3. Eliminate everything that is just a distraction from the single mission of the DOD.
We're such big pals with Vietnam these days, use their folks for contractors to ask him. They obviously know how to get him to cooperate.
Buried just beyond the reach of high tide in Tahiti.
On an Island on Mancation
Tahiti may have a +/- 6” tide (that is why moosheele can’t go there) it would be an ecological disaster
we tax payers are such patsies....fools....to think of how much trouble we go thru to be good and faithful tax paying citizens and the elitist cabal just throws it away to their friends and their own bank accounts, I am sure....
That’s a good point — I heard, somewhere else, that there were financial records destroyed in building 7 of the WTC.
Perhaps the only people who want an audit less is the Federal Reserve.
Oh, I like that. So few people apply common sense like that to issues.
