Thanks for the ping! Yes, Montgomery was looking for legal protection that Zullo and Arpaio weren’t able to provide from the tiny MCCCP funds, I guess. There was no federal legal support in AZ. But Klayman and a federal judge finally obtained federal witness protection for the man in the DC Circuit.

Montgomery’s info was turned over to the FBI under some kind of federal whistleblower protection deal that he would BLOW if he went public with it, unfortunately, I would assume.

Trump could grant Montgomery a pardon, I suppose, but it could be messy and the dems could cry bloody murder and coddling of a “traitor” likening Montgomery to Snowden, or just making him out to be a whack-job.
