Caddell also discussed Trumps victory in November and its impact on Washington.
Said Caddell regarding concerns he had immediately after Trumps win, The great concern for the Trump administration is that its a Trump White House but is this going to be a Ryan government?
Is this going to be, he added, where they use him to impose what they want to do rather than supporting what he got elected to do?
Caddell said he still worries about that and believe events unfolding around the healthcare bill are an example of that.

Trump hasn’t failed at anything yet, so Pat? You need to wait and see.
I’m no fan of Ryan but this wouldn’t be the end of the world. Our government is set up for the President to answer to Congress, not vice versa.
You think so Pat? That’s a stupid thing to say. Trump would/will crush Eddie Munster very easily. Trump can take his case directly to the base; Eddie can’t because no one trusts the little twerp. Try again Pat.
Ryan is 100% against Trump and is doing everything within (maybe outside as well) his power to make sure Trump fails. He wants to run for POTUS in 2020. Ryan needs to get a royal “smackdown”!
“Im no fan of Ryan but this wouldnt be the end of the world”
It would be close enough, as Ryan hates Trump, and didn’t vote for him. Ryan is SCUM.
Ryan and McConnell think that Trump will be a sock puppet who will be happy to ride around on Air Force One, sit in the Oval Office, and sign anything they send him. I think they are wrong but President Trump has to be the one to make that clear. And blindly signing off on this pile of crap of an Obamacare replacement is not the way to do it.

“Our government is set up for the President to answer to Congress, not vice versa.”
Would you mind citing some authority for that assertion, that the presidency is subservient to the congress?
And how does that jive with three `coequal branches of government & `checks and balances’ and so forth.
(No `weaseling’ e.g. the `SOTU’: the president, one man, can veto the action of both houses with just his signature.)
Paul Ryan has to go. Hie head has gotten way to big for his seat.
Ominous statement-
No, Trump has not failed, but, with this health care bill, I concede that Caddell has raised a valid point. Sure hope he’s very wrong. I don’t trust Ryan one bit.
The president can’t spend one penny of Federal money without Congressional authorization.
Proper separation of powers, yes; but, Ryan should be replaced. He is not a strong a dedicated conservative or USConstitutional supporter.
Amen! Do it, Trump.
Good answer. Thanks.
Who cares what Ryan thinks of Trump, and vice versa? Let them both do their jobs, and let the chips fall where they may.
In theory, Ryan and the RINOs could join with the Democrats to impeach and remove Trump...if they could come up with some pretext beyond that he called a judge a “so-called judge.” But any Republicans joining in would likely lose their seats in the next election, and it is hard to see them getting to 67 votes in the Senate.
