Thanks for sharing the sad news Laz, Eaker will truly be missed. As a side note, here's one of his last posts from only two days ago:
but we got a chance to know him well, and we are all better for it!

Oh god yes. He loved his animals! Need to send up prayers for them too. Animals do grieve as well. Dear God...this is all just terrible. I can’t even wrap my mind around it....much else my soul. I just feel numb right now...spent. I can only imagine how their families feel. Makes my heart just ache for them all.

Arms and prayers reaching to his family and friends at such a shocking and tragic loss. I have no words of comfort..nothing of that helps. Praying with all my heart. I only knew him through here and on FB..but a good guy. I’m grieving for all ofbyou.
