President Trump’s approval rating has taken a nosedive, according to the latest Gallup poll.
Only 37 percent of respondents approve the job the president is doing — the lowest level since he took office — while 58 percent disapprove, the poll found.
Trump’s approval rating was 45 percent a week earlier.
Other presidents have experienced even lower ratings, but Trump is the first commander-in-chief in at least 70 years to have dropped this low by March of his first term, according to Gallup.
His plummeting numbers come as the GOP seeks to push through the proposal to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, better known as ObamaCare.
Trump also has faced a roadblock with his revised travel ban after a federal judge in Hawaii issued a temporary restraining order against it.

Expect more phony polls, as they smell blood in the water with the Russia hearings, the health care fight etc. They wanna push the narrative that everyone is turning on Trump to scare weak-kneed GOP congress members.
Now in reality, I would not be shocked if his numbers had dipped a bit, mainly due to conservatives disliking the healthcare proposal. But we have to realize, Trump is not a normal Prez.. he’s gonna have a lot of approval spikes & dips, due to his personality. His baseline is right around 45%, whenever you see a legit dip its gonna be due to a)- the #NeverTrump conservatives getting mad, or b)- indies getting squeamish about his tweets or “controversial” statements in general

That said, yesterday I came across a member on this board who was having a bird because Trump was spending too many weekends in Mar-a-Largo. Her rational was nothing short of shameful for a FR member. She wanted President Trump to cut back along with the rest of the people in DC, given that he is cutting the budgets of Federal agencies.
I’ll repeat it...she is worried about the rats in DC that might lose their jobs and thinks Trump should stay in DC to save money. Never mind that DC is a rat infested hole; never mind that everyone in DC has a bullseye on his back and the backs of his family; never mind that the SS cannot keep them safe in the WH.
Instead of thanking President Trump for working 7/24 even on his weekends in Florida and his family for putting up with some of the worst behavior even from Rinos, she wants them to “suffer”. I have never run across anyone on FreeRepublic who was so selfish and mean spirited...it blew my mind.
As far as I am concerned, Trump can go to Florida every weekend...he deserves it; the man is killing it for the American people and this little brat wants them to “suffer”.

If I recall correctly, the Gallup poll for 2012 was so miserable that it decided not to do an election poll in 2016. The difference between Rasmussen and Gallup is so great it definitely needs an explanation.
There’s another post here that Trump’s numbers are improving, reaching 50%.
If poll is at all accurate (extremely debatable since it varies greatly from other polls), it indicates the success of the leftist media and obstructionist, leftist (excuse the redundancy) Dems to divert attention from President Trump’s accomplishments achieved in a very short time, to peripheral and largely “trumped up” issues.
Funny how the press can piss on populism, and use populism to advantage, without breaking a sweat.
