TRUMP: North Korea is 'behaving very badly,' and China 'has done little to help'
President Donald Trump tweeted on Friday morning that North Korea has been "behaving very badly" and that China has done little to contain the threat.
"North Korea is behaving very badly," Trump wrote. "They have been 'playing' the United States for years. China has done little to help!"
The tweet comes as Rex Tillerson, Trump's secretary of state, is on a trip to Asia.

A Chinese response is usually to drag their feet and make some token concession. Hence the need for a bigger stick if you want to see a real change in their attitude.

I bet that if Trump shuts down trade with
China they will reconsider. If Trump promises that China will be hit with a massive nuke attack in N Korea does anything, they will reconsider how they act too.

Trump needs some education. The chinese help the NK’s because it’s a way to stick a thorn in our side.

I love hearing the truth. Its been twenty eight years since. This is far from the truth, at least in the dark recesses of my own mind, where it seems obvious that NK is a Cat's Paw, entirely beholden to, and dependent on, Communist China, and therefore acting at their direction.

The Pueblo. I thought that right away, but chickened out and looked it up, and found this image right away.
First time I ever saw it. It’s pretty small, what? I guess those guys were hung out to dry.
I did read an account of their confinement. How the NK’s were “good with their feet”, and yet laughably rustic to the urbane American captives. As I recall, one of the NK guards bragged that he could imitate the wind, and came forth with “Wiiiinnnnnnnd ... wiiiinnnnnnnd.” ( as recounted ) which left the Americans hardly able to contain themselves.

Tillerson said ALL options are on the table.
I just heard this break down about possible scenarios with China and NK and it is quite fascinating:

USS PUEBLO (today)
In the late 1990s the Clinton Administration attempted to negotiate with North Korea. At the time, the Koreans were in the process of constructing a nuclear reactor. It would be capable of producing nuclear weapons grade plutonium. The US government entered an agreement that stated in essence, if the Koreans stopped work on the reactor, the US along with some EU nations would provide them with a new light water reactor plus 500,000 tons per year of heavy fuel oil. The fuel oil to be used in the Korean oil fired power plants. US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright visited Pyongyang and met with Kim Jong Il. During the course of those "negotiations" the North Koreans felt they would be able to move USS PUEBLO from Wonsan on Korea's east coast to the Taedong River at Pyongyang on the west coast. This was a voyage of over 1000 nautical miles, all in INTERNATIONAL WATERS.
The move of the ship from Wonsan to Pyongyang was handled by Secretary of Defense William J. Perry who had been appointed by President Clinton his North Korea Policy Coordinator. In that role he was in favor of negotiation and appeasement. He was instrumental in arranging Secretary Albrights visit to NK.
He allowed the ship relocation from East to West and told the US Navy - hands off.
