Lou Dobbs: Speaker Paul Ryan Should Resign
Brietbart News ^ | March 14 2017 | Neil Munro

Posted on 03/14/2017 12:46:17 PM PDT by drewh

House Speaker Ryan should resign his post, says Lou Dobbs, the anchor of Lou Dobbs Tonight on Fox Business Network.

Dobbs Tweeted his resignation call Tuesday morning after Breitbart posted a pre-election recording of Ryan saying he would never defend President Donald Trump, and as multiple GOP legislators walked away from Ryan’s Obamacare replacement proposal, the American Health Care Act.

In the audiotape, recorded Oct. 10, 2016, Ryan told his fellow GOP legislators that ““I am not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future.” Ryan spoke shortly after the public heard the Access Hollywood tape of Trump’s conversation in which he said about women that “when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”

Dobbs followed up his call for Ryan’s resignation with two Tweets calling for the full repeal of Obamacare. One Tweet describes Ryan’s proposed alternative as “RyanCare,” and said it is failing.

According to the leaked audiotape, Ryan said about his reaction to Trump’s comments:

There are basically two things that I want to make really clear, as for myself as your Speaker. I am not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future. As you probably heard, I disinvited him from my first congressional district GOP event this weekend—a thing I do every year. And I’m not going to be campaigning with him over the next 30 days … Many of you on this call are facing tough reelections. Some of you are not. But with respect to Donald Trump, I would encourage you to do what you think is best and do what you feel you need to do. Personally, you need to decide what’s best for you. And you all know what’s best for you where you are.

“Ryan was Romney’s pick solely on delivering Wisconsin and Michigan.”

Well, that worked well, didn’t it?! The GOP should have dumped Ryan then!

I remember during the Obamacare days, when Obama met with the Republicans and Ryan stood up to him and asked some tuff questions. I was talking to some friends at the time and said “you watch this guy, he has balls, he’ll be President some day”. Boy, was I wrong.

Pre-election, Ryan, like all the rest of the “intelligentsia” establishment bushie uni-party repubs, as well as apparently the entire clintoonian mega money operation of bubbled navel watchers....ALL assumed Trump would lose, and so, took this “position”. Until, of course Trump became, by definition, the leader of the Repub party, newly comprised, and kept Preibus on to “sort out the wheat from the chaff” of who would support him.
This points out what is true of all the Boehner bots, who will “run” one way and their actions being quite another. Let’s see whether the “binary decision” (Rand Paul’s quote of Ryan) Ryan gets the “ART of the Deal” when he meets with Trump. This cannot be bammy care lite, which would COOK the conservative caucus in re-election and be a lying irremovable sop for go-alongs in the fake conservative house re-elections (calculated to lose the House...against Trump on budget, and funding).

Paul Ryan received funds from a Democratic organization called “ActBlue”. He’s one of two Republicans on the list. The other is Rob Portman of Ohio.

What's always left unreported in that excerpt, is after he says, "grab them by the pu$$y" he says, "and they let you." That statement speaks to consent.

It’s true.

Most women enjoy sex, and they like men who aren’t shy about it.

Interesting that is a mini- Romney. Romney throughout his career always picked “mini-me ss” as his second in command. Ryan is clearly a romney “ mini-me”. Basically, a huge Rino.

Dobbs isn't in government. To answer directly your question, see: https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/596

Rep. Bradley Byrne of Alabama got his bill PASSED in 2016. AND this was not the only one passed since 2012.

This is about REPEAL, not some dam replacement. Go back to SQUARE one where we were before and THEN do the Phase 3 stuff.

Get rid of this ObammyCare disaster FIRST and then we can have a chat about 'free market' healthcare.

I don't want to see ONE IOTA of this nightmare in the AHCA:

I was thinking at first that outside of Chuckie Shumer, that Ryan was the biggest piece of human excrement in Washington, DC. Then I got to thinking that Shumer is a Democrat, so there is at least some excuse for his behavior. Therefore, I hereby declare that Paul Ryan truly is the biggest piece of human excrement in Washington, DC.

Yes, but I didn’t buy it. That was back when everyone claimed to be part of the TEA Party...including John McCain.

I love Lou Dobbs and am suspicious of Ryan, but I think that this is a cheap shot.

Ryan’s comments about not defending Trump were clearly in the context of defending Trump’s statements on the Access Hollywood tape (about grabbing women by the genitals). Out of context.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Wrong. The cheap shot was when that loathsome bastard saw fit to shoot his filthy mouth off in an attempt to make himself seem so righteous relative to Donald Trump, when the right thing to do would have been to keep his yap shut.
