In the three years before he became Donald Trump’s chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon lived as a virtual nomad in a quest to build a populist political insurgency.
No presidential adviser in recent memory has followed such a mysterious, peripatetic path to the White House. It was as though he was a man with no fixed address.
He owned a house and condo in Southern California, where he had entertainment and consulting businesses, a driver’s license and a checking account. He claimed Florida as his residence, registering to vote in Miami and telling authorities he lived at the same address as his third ex-wife.
At the same time, he routinely stayed in Washington and New York as he engineered the expansion of Breitbart News and hosted a live Breitbart radio program. By 2015, Bannon stayed so often at Breitbart’s townhouse headquarters on Capitol Hill that he kept a picture of a daughter on a mantle piece, beneath a portrait of Abraham Lincoln.
Bannon told a friend that year he was living in multiple cities, including Washington, New York, London and Miami, according to an email obtained by The Washington Post.
The issue of Bannon’s legal residency has been simmering since last summer, shortly after he became chief executive of Trump’s campaign. The Guardian reported in an Aug. 26 story that he was registered to vote at a then-vacant house and speculated that Bannon may have signed an oath that he was a Florida resident to take advantage of the state’s lack of state income taxes.

They nailed Flynn’s hide to the wall, got Sessions to recuse himself, forced Puzder to withdraw as Labor sec’y nominee, and continue to assault Conway. DJT should step to a microphone and say, “F*** all you a**h****s. The press are banned from the WH, and we’re coming for every Obama-Clinton mole.”
I wish I could remember where I saw someone here say in the last couple days that the Left would be going after Bannon next. Looks like they were spot on.

These two WaPo putzes don’t realize the way of Woodward and Berstein is over and done. SloMo and the Shyster who made their names off a media establishment that hated Nixon all via “Deep Throat.” The truth is they all would have indicted Nixon for eating a ham sandwich if they could’ve gotten away with it.
The whole point of this piece is to paint Bannon as a drinker in the absence of any evidence.
About 20 years ago, Congressman David Bonior I think Rush called him the House lapdog) had a $300,000 home in DC and a $30,000 run down condo in hi Michigan district. No neighbor could recall seeing him nor anyone else ever enter the property. Water and electric bills were zero, and yet, he was continually re-elected.
When he retired, he went in to the restaurant business and actually had the temerity to complain how difficult business was with all the taxes and regulations.

I absolutely love the fact that Bannon’s formative college years were not at Hahvuhd or Yale or some other over-rated Ivy League or Charlottesville indoctrination site. Instead, he went to a fine University where Engineering, Agriculture, and Animal Science are popular majors.

I don’t really care, frankly, as long as he never voted in more than one location. There is nothing here with this, IMO. Certainly much, much less than with Valerie Jarrett or Huma, or 10 million other double voter Democrats in this country plus the illegal alien voters.
All this is just another pathetic attempt by Democrats to throw sh!t at a fan and see what gets the most coverage.
And yet we know oh-so-much more about his whole history than we do about Obama’s.....
