..Palin on ..Ryan’s ‘RINO-Care’: ‘Socialized Medicine’; President Trump Will ‘Step In and Fix It’
Breitbart ^ | 03/11/2017 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 03/11/2017 9:44:33 PM PST by ForYourChildren

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee and the first major GOP figure to endorse President Donald Trump, is calling out House Speaker Paul Ryan for what she says is “RINO-Care.”

Ryan introduced what he calls the “American Health Care Act,” a bill that does not repeal Obamacare but only amends it. For the last several days, senior Republicans ranging from members of the House Freedom Caucus to other House Republicans to Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Rand Paul (R-KY), Mike Lee (R-UT), and more have raised serious concerns with the bill. Some call it Obamacare 2.0, others call it Obamacare Lite or Ryan-care, and now Palin—in her first interview on the topic, coming on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel this weekend—calls it “RINO-Care.”

“I do want to speak about this, but I am tempted to say not another word from our fearless leaders about this new form of Obamacare that I’m going to call RINO-care—not another word from them until we are definitively told that there is no provision whatsoever allowing Congress to exempt itself whatsoever with this law,” Palin said. “As with anything else mandated by Congress, every single dotted I and crossed T better apply to them, too, and not just the people who they are lording this thing over because remember this is government-controlled health care, the system that requires enrollment in an unaffordable, unsustainable, unwanted, unconstitutional continuation of government-run medicine, and even in this new quasi-reformed proposal, there is still an aspect of socialism. That’s the whole premise here.”

She says,

“Palin concluded the interview by noting that she has the utmost confidence that President Trump will move to scrap Ryan’s bill and fix this whole process before this gets out of hand.

“He will step in and fix it,” Palin said. “I have great faith that President Trump is one who will fulfill campaign promises. He already has a track record of doing so well in these first months, I’m just really proud to have been part of the constituency that wanted him in there and worked hard to get him in there. So, yeah, I’m sure that President Trump is going to do the right thing..”

“this is government-controlled health care, the system that requires enrollment”

People can opt out of the whole thing if they want. Taxes and the mandate are repealed. The antis will have to do better than this.

If trump does not change this or stop it then he will have little cance of being a successful president, just 0-lite. He has to change of=r veto this .gov health system.

"For the past 8 years the RINOs sat on their nuts doing nothing!!!"

Oh no. The RINOs for the last eight years have been passing a bill to repeal Obamacare. The sad thing is they knew that Obama was there to protect them and veto it.

"Why the GOP is scared to repeal: Obama’s not there to protect them with a veto "

The GOP is the little doggie.

Lots of noise when on a leash, with Obama protecting them. But now that nothing is holding them back, well, they just cant seem to pass those same repeal bills that they have been bringing up for the last few years.

How about absolutely no government interference with health insurance at all. Not a single regulation. Let companies do whatever they want.

Watch health insurance costs plummet.

It is government control of health care. Expensive, not much consumer choice, what is there to like except undisclosed changes in round 2 and round 3. Like I believe that, and I don’t like undisclosed changes to slavery mandates.

Exactly!!

You want to know what works? My family has samaritanministries.org. $400/mo covers everything! Deductible is $400.00 (I think). The government is not involved in this! It works!

I'm glad Sarah's so confident. My personal unease won't cease until I hear the President say that he wants Congress to go back to the drawing board.

Taxes and the mandate are repealed.

I read that the mandate has NOT been removed, only that the penalty for failure to maintain health insurance is reduced to $0, which any future Congress can raise.

It was like that before , when it was in the so-called “free market” ... I think Trump will make sure that this gets fixed effectively ...as far government control is concerned , don’t forget that the insurance companies were all too happy to climb in bed with Obama on the ACA ...

What makes any of you think Trump is a conservative? He said during the campaign that he was not going to kick everybody off Obamacare. Repeal and replace means fix. Not abandon. That is what he ran on.
