“I’m glad Sarah’s so confident. My personal unease won’t cease until I hear the President say that he wants Congress to go back to the drawing board”

You have good reason to be uneasy - There are news reports saying he will support having Repubs that do not support the bill primaried.

I saw that report yesterday, and it made me ill. The President has got to listen to us. This is not why we elected him. He promised to repeal Obamacare, not simply rename it.

He said will Repeal and REPLACE, not simply abolish.

I'm sorry, but that's one campaign promise I never asked for, and never agreed with. I, like most Americans, want Obamacare ripped out by the roots, and replaced with private sector, free market solutions - not another big government program.

The President needs to listen to the people, and act accordingly.

The “Repeal” part was great. The “Replace” part always made me wince, because it is simply unconstitutional. Gov’t has NO place inserting itself in the private medical affairs between citizens and the services of medical professionals they choose to purchase.

I haven’t read the bill so I can’t comment on the content. I do know that the Democrats are again trying to scare seniors (of which I am one) by telling them that they will be paying up to five times what they pay now. I have yet to see proof of this and will not believe the Republicans are stupid enough to allow that to happen. If they do, their days in power will be numbered.

So one of the only differences is that with RyanCare, the Republicans found a way to make the penalty go to their friends in the insurance industry, instead of the government?
