Students and faculty arrived at Button Drill Room for an open forum titled “Whiteness: What does that mean?” on Wednesday afternoon. The event opened a discussion of how people express racial identity, particularly regarding white people, in Kentucky. Participants talked about how they discovered the concept of race along with their experiences with their own racial identities. The discussion is the second event offered in the Spring 2017 semester by CommUNITY Conversations, a project created by Cory Clark, Minority Academic Services coordinator, and Chris Blakely, Minority Retention coordinator.

Years ago I worked with a scrub tech and whenever I would either compliment or criticize him he would say” you’re just saying that cause I’m black”. To which I would always reply, “ well Phil, being white ain’t all its cracked up to be.” Then we’d both laugh like it was the first time.
Probably couldn’t get away with it today.
To a sane person, it describes the reflectivity of the paper on which I just wrote a list of things to buy at the grocery store. It is used for a surface that reflects all visible colors in such a proportion that we do not see any color, but see it as white. Clouds, most paper, and the background of this text box are white.
To the insane person, obsessed with hatred for this country, it refers to the imaginary qualities of bias, racism and hatred, and attaches those qualities to all persons whose ancestry can be traced back to Europe, excluding Spain. Anyone with such a background is irrevocably given the entire burden of slavery and all the injustices committed in this country by anyone stamped with the word “White.”
I’m a sane person and won’t let insane people affect what I think of myself.
It means, you were born with less pigment in your skin, to white parents.
It’s not the color, it’s the attitude.
That’ll get them good paying jobs when they graduate.
The take away is if you slander whites, watch your back, because we aren't going anywhere, we outnumber everyone here, and chances are we or perhaps one of the many fine people of any ethnic group you can imagine that we have embraced as family, friends and neighbors might not take your shyte the way one may hope, and it will end in a bad way for you.
Pushing forward this concept or “whiteness” is blatant racism. Racism is the theory that one’s race determines or should determine one’s social and economic status. The most complete and insistent expression of racist theory is found on the political Left. Liberals and leftists of all shapes and forms are overt racists. It is becoming more prevalent in other segments of the society as racism is proclaimed and enforced by the Schools, the government, Hollywood, the MSM.
I don’t care, what the color of your skin is. I only care about your moral character.
But - if you attack me or my family - for any reason - including my whiteness - I will respond in a completely asymmetric fashion.
The left needs to stop or there is going to be a reversion to medieval mores. And they will be the recipients.
It means minorities are supposed to hate us just because of our skin color. Nothing more, nothing less.
It means the revolution is coming. And not the one they think.
There is no absolute black in nature. Therefore, we are all one shade or another of brown.
Heck, I don’t know - maybe intelligence, inventiveness, industry, commitment, responsibility, and a sense of morality.
Nothing else.
Anyone who tries to convince me to be ashamed to be white is barking up the wrong tree.
Ditto,anyone who tries to convince me to be *proud* of my skin tone.
It means we are the envy of many non-whites - and they really show it!

They should ask Stormfront, if it’s still around. Opposite racists should have an agreement over terms and dividing lines. I would say equal and opposite racists, but let’s face it, compared to the horde of anti-white racists allowed to operate freely in media and academia, Stormfront is just a speck of dust by comparison,
Here is my attempt at a definition.
Whiteness is a series of behaviors, attitudes and values that generally lead to success independent of a person’s race or gender. They are usually associated with Caucasians and therefore are rejected by anti-white non-caucasians who then blame their lack of success on “racism”.
