Exclusive — Sarah Palin on Paul Ryan’s ‘RINO-Care’
Breitbart.com ^ | 11 Mar 2017 | MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 03/11/2017 1:38:15 PM PST by Resettozero

Sarah Palin, the first major GOP figure to endorse President Donald Trump, is calling out House Speaker Paul Ryan for what she says is “RINO-Care'...in her first interview on the topic, coming on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel this weekend...

“I do want to speak about this, but I am tempted to say not another word from our fearless leaders about this new form of Obamacare that I’m going to call RINO-care—not another word from them until we are definitively told that there is no provision whatsoever allowing Congress to exempt itself whatsoever with this law,” Palin said. “As with anything else mandated by Congress, every single dotted I and crossed T better apply to them, too, and not just the people who they are lording this thing over because remember this is government-controlled health care, the system that requires enrollment in an unaffordable, unsustainable, unwanted, unconstitutional continuation of government-run medicine, and even in this new quasi-reformed proposal, there is still an aspect of socialism. That’s the whole premise here.”

Palin expressed serious concern with the fact that Ryan’s healthcare bill does not eliminate Obamacare’s individual mandate. It just shifts the mandate—which requires all Americans to purchase a health insurance plan even if they do not want one. Under Obamacare, those who do not comply, pay a tax to the federal government. Under Ryan’s plan, those who not comply, pay a fee to the insurance companies.

Cruz, Paul, and Lee have already called for full repeal. They’re virtually certain to vote no, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a couple of others who join them. (Sasse, for one.)

I have read that the proposed tax credit is refundable, similar to the child and earned income credits. If it wasn’t refundable I don’t think people would be so upset about it.
But the reports I’ve read could be wrong, need to research, thanks.

Go nuclear in the Senate and introduce a bill that kills the whole thing. Obamacare. Let private enterprise take over and if necessary let each and every state have their own healthcare.
This entire issue needs to be out of the hands of the federal govt. That’s the only way to fix it.

She’s spot on, of course. At best, Obamacare should be burned to ash and let the states and individual Americans figure out their own healthcare plans. At worst, any government managed replacement should be purely voluntary with solid provisos allowing cancellation at any time for any reason.

It’s partially our fault that Ryan is still there. He has a small house district where good candidates are available to run against him.We need to nationalize his race and raise so much money he cant possibly win. It’s doable and it could start right here. And it would send a message to other rinos to straighten out or get voted out.

Tax credit’s allow me to keep my own money; you can’t get a refund with a tax credit.

What if you don't owe any tax? Do you not still have to have healthcare?

The fact that you needed to insult me instead of answering my question

You questions were answered several times, you were not interested in the answers.

Paying the thief to rob you (again.) Good one, Ryno.

Another sad thing to contemplate is that we have had basically, I don’t know how many years to devise a replacement bill and under Ryan/McConnels leadership. This is the best they can come up with.? Sorry not buying it.
All this is is caving to their ultimate masters the illuminati/NWO who are running this show.... again.

Hold on. That is a different way of looking at it...from what I heard, it was that if don’t have insurance, and you get sick THEN ask for insurance, the insurance company can charge you more.

Is that right? If so, then I have no problem with that....

This is the Sarah Palin that I’ve known and loved. Her heart’s with the people, not with the party. To the extent that party is right, she’s behind it. To the extent that it’s not, she’s a very effective critic.

My understanding is tax credits do not allow you to get a Refund. So if you do not pay taxes you will not be able to claim the credit (or at least it will not be beneficial to you)

According to this article the tax credit would be refundable.

Cantorize your weasel in the primary.
Darn shame more people did not follow our lead.

Fair enough.

My point was this is Ryan and the RINO’s bill.

What is preventing the chest pounding conservatives from ousting
Ryan.

Please tell me. I’d like to know.

If conservatives hate this bill so much, get rid of Ryan and start fresh.
