Most of my coworkers are women, many of whom are either divorced or widowed. I doubt any of them even heard about this “protest,” nor would they care about it. In the real world, we all have bills to pay.

Females are strong as hell.
People who are strong, don't have to constantly remind people of it.
Julie Kulik teaches children in a mentor program run by Earth Arts of Ithaca and said she was able to participate in the march because two stay-at-home fathers offered to teach her class for her.
So, who's watching their kids while they sub and who did the background check on these random guys before letting them into a school to do her job?
