Well about time for y’all to get a warm-up. There’s something to be said for it staying cold for a while though. It’s not fun but you acclimated. Being warm for a few days, then cold for a few, has gotten rather old.

Your son is going to be at a disadvantage this weekend but that’s the goal, isn’t it? LOL!

Some of the kittehs are laying low this evening but Miller and brat Lily are on a tear. I’m about ready to lock ‘em in a closet!

Bummer y’all aren’t getting a break from the wind. Must be really strong if you can’t fly your colors. Ouch!

We’ve had days with strong winds when a front comes through, like yesterday and the day before, but it calms down afterwards. I imagine we’ll have wind again Friday. *sigh*

No, the smoke wasn’t around here today, probably because the wind was from another direction.

I haven’t heard if that fire is out. Should check, I guess. LOL!

Glad you weren’t choking on it again.
Had to be a large fire and they probably haven’t gotten it out completely. Hope they’ve managed to put a lot of it out at least.

I’d seen a couple of reports on the fires this afternoon and evening on CNN and on the evening news and heard the 1 million acres figure. That’s a LOT of acreage on fire.
So sad people have lost their lives I always feel bad about the animals that get caught up in the fires.
I was surprised to hear about FL yesterday because I didn’t realize it was so dry down there.

Sure hope the weather patterns change enough to give us all some decent rainfall SOON or this is going to be a bad year for a lot of the country. Last year was bad enough.

I rode all the way home with a friend on the phone. She just went to bed, and she is doing well.

I got my Mom fed after a circular conversation about papers. Had I seen them? No I don’t touch any of your papers in your office.

I found them mixed in with other stuff. I don’t touch your stuff and if they were in with other stuff you must have had a reason for putting them there. Well, how did you get them? It is possible they came in an email and I printed them out for you. (I copy and paste stuff and increase the font size to 28 or so.)

OK...maybe I’ll call Arlene tomorrow and ask her. Good plan!

Maybe tomorrow, if she remembers, she will either have them or not.

How was your day?

WINDY AND COLD HERE!!

Hurrah for good doctor reports.

Repeating storms doesn’t sound like fun. Stay warm and safe.

Florida can be very dry. Sometime before my son moved there, they had a huge fire north of where he lived...near Melbourne. He was in the AF stationed at Patrick AFB. By the time we saw it, things were growing back but it was a huge area.

I guess it’s time to start praying for rain.

Glad to hear your friend is doing well. Hope things continue to look up as the days go on.

Too bad you had to arrive home to an evening of circular conversations though. Almost enough to make one want to stay at work, isn’t it? LOL! You have my sympathies. I go through it with Aunt Clara but it isn’t on a daily basis.

I saw it was really cold up there. being windy makes it even more of a misery. You’re all probably MORE than ready for Spring to arrive after this bitter winter.

It was a nice day here - - sunny and mid 60s. Tomorrow is supposed to reach the low 70s, then we’ll be cold for several days. Might even get a little wintry mix this weekend. NOT GOOD for all the plants that are coming to life now.

I guess southern part of the state tends to get a little drier than the panhandle and the fires now are in the southern part. Dad lived outside Ft. Walton for years and only sometimes complained about it being dry.

It’s awfully early for all these fires to be flaring up. We’re all desperately in need of rain, and lots of it.

I hate changing time....and the change is getting longer and longer.

This year it start March 12 and ends November 5....pick one and let it run year round. We were told we could vote on it...hasn’t happened.

I did! I just knew when I refreshed, you would have snagged it. LOL!

Did I see that y’all are supposed to have SNOW this coming weekend? That’s crazy, if true!

You got lucky. I was busy checking in on bird nests and wasn’t paying attention. LOL

Yeah, we’re not happy with the weekend forecast. They just hit us with the news this evening. Not a peep about the possibility before that. On the early morning news they were calling for warmer temps than they are now.
A lot of plant life is going to take a hit.

It sure sounds like it will. Maybe they’ll be wrong again and it won’t pan out.

We were pretty warm today and it’ll stay that way till Sunday. Not a drastic change, though. Just enough to where i have no idea what to wear to church! LOL! Layers are my friends!
