WASHINGTON (AP) — Long before he tweeted about wiretaps, Donald Trump worried about who was listening in on his calls.
As a real estate mogul and reality TV star — well before he alleged on Twitter that former President Barack Obama wiretapped his phones during the campaign — Trump expressed regular concern that his phone lines were not secure, according to three former Trump Organization executives.
At times he talked about possible listening devices and worried that he was being monitored, two executives said.

I wonder how much the communications industry has been in bed with the intelligence community over this.
There’s been a concerted effort to push consumers to VOD internet phone systems to replace the old land lines. I know it’s probably cheaper, but internet calls are also much easier to monitor.
Just something else to be paranoid about.

Oh yes, all kinds of 6 figure earning bureaucrats have been playing fast and loose with the law for years now. They are worried that they will no longer be working half days, getting paid large, and continuing life without the consequences of their law breaking!
