Did you know your tax dollars support articles that all but label President Donald Trump racist? And suggest the same of your favorite singers, too?
Consider a new pop culture think piece from NPR.
The headline alone is all you need to read: White Nostalgia Didn't Start With Trump Just Look At Classic Rock
Suddenly, the soundtrack to our lives has been thrown under the bus, and we helped fund it. It begins, of course, with calling Trumps signature appeal racist.
For more than a year, Donald Trump has harped on white nostalgia.
A hearkening back to a rosy, but ambiguous, time in American history with his Make America Great Again slogan propelled his presidential run. It was a message, though, largely not embraced in minority communities, given that blacks, Latinos and women were fighting for equal rights during the same period Trump has indicated he believes America was great (the Industrial Revolution and the post-World War II 1940s and '50s).
Give the NPR scribe credit. He doesnt mince words. Not a bit.

Some dumb Eric Clapman song comes to mind...
Average White Band. Work To Do
I’d forgotten how hideous the late 70’s were...
Is there a more recognizable, unique voice than the late Levi Stubbs from the Four Tops? Even today, just a few words sung and you know that voice.
I don’t recall anyone caring abut his skin color.
Tell me they did NOT dress that way and that the whole world didn’t find it ridiculous.
These liberal fools sniff around and leave no stone unturned in an effort to demonize traditional America. Nothing escapes them in that effort. Nothing. They do it in education so the young will reject their heritage as evil and embrace whatever is put in place for a substitute.
"...Bay City Rollers..."
How did they miss The White Stripes?

Stop funding NPR....NOW!
Leave it to ‘Beaver’, to say something like that while in public, while pretending to protest the same word. Thanks Obola.
The basic mission of a Social Justice Warrior is to make people get upset, suspicious and dissatisfied. Sort of the antithesis of a comedian.
100% agree.

Play that funky music, white boy!
Rock & Roll saved the Black Female Backup Singer who was taking more and more of a back seat to the all male rap acts. A good example is the backup vocal on Gimme Shelter by Merry Clayton. So powerful. It kicked off a whole new legacy for many of those ladies.
I knew that when he said it, I would never let anyone forget that he did.
So Tina Turner and Jimi Hendrix were Aunt Jemima and Uncle Tom?
I have white nostalgia. I remember commercials and advertisements in the 60’s had only white folk in them. Now every commercial on television that has both whites and blacks in the same commercial, ALWAYS depicts the white person as the ignorant buffoon/loser that makes the bad choices. And the black person or family is always depicted as the successful one that makes all the right choices. Because to reverse the roles would be racist. So the advertisers go the cowardly route.
