Following Trump's stunning allegation that Obama wiretapped the Trump Tower in October of 2016, prior to the presidential election, which may or may not have been sourced from a Breitbart story, numerous Democrats and media pundits have come out with scathing accusations that Trump is either mentally disturbed, or simply has no idea what he is talking about.
The best example of this came from Ben Rhodes, a former senior adviser to President Obama in his role as deputy National Security Advisor, who slammed Trump's accusation, insisting that "No President can order a wiretap. Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you." He also said "only a liar" could make the case, as Trump suggested, that Obama wire tapped Trump Tower ahead of the election.
It would appear, however, that Rhodes is wrong, especially as pertains to matters of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance, and its associated FISA court, under which the alleged wiretap of Donald Trump would have been granted, as it pertained specifically to Trump's alleged illicit interactions with Russian entities.

The 1st wiretapping request was turned down by the FISA court judge. These are almost always rubber stamped. To have such a request denied must have contained some extraordinary data.
Trying to prove a negative is not the preponderance of evidence to present to a FISA judge to get a warrant. It can only be the FBI as they have sole jurisdiction.
If a Russian bank is located in Trump Tower and dealing with Trump's company on a regular basis, any @sshole in the Obama administration who wanted to get a FISA warrant would have plenty of information that could be manipulated so it looked like evidence of suspicious activity.
They play the Russia card,........time to play the Soros card.

Ben Rhodes calling other people ‘liars’ is pretty bizarre.
Ben Rhodes was one of Obama’s “designated liars” who lied to Congress and the American people about Obama’s deal to give the Iranian mullahs billions and billions of dollars along with a clear pathway toward acquiring nuclear weapons - and Rhodes subsequently bragged about his lies to the national media. They had a good laugh about it.
I think the evidence staring us in the face proves you wrong. This is surely not the product of sober and sane adults.
I would settle for exile in his homeland of Nigeria.
Trump got access to all the data. He’s got the scoop, the whole intelada. I bet when Trump tweeted this morning, they knew the jig was up.
He doth protest too much. The technology is there, regardless of legal restrictions. It’s just up to the POTUS whether he will comply with the law, which in this case did not prevent the wiretap. Snowden isn’t holed up in Moscow for nothing. The programs that he spilled the beans on exist. That’s why he’s a wanted man.

An ex-girfriend who I stay in touch with does not follow politics and HATES politics completely. She asked why I was so excited/animated today.
I told her about the wiretap on Donald Trump, by the Obama administration, before the election.
She, a complete novice and utterly naive about politics, cocked her head and said “That doesn’t sound right.”

Clapper just hurt Obama this morning on meet The Press. He denies all knowledge of this in his official capacity. Thus there was no National Security interest involved. It was lynch & Obama. Lynch is too stupid to do this on her own and would not have a reason to do so. Obama did it for hillary and was paid handsomely.
I think they are sober but insane/evil to the core.
Always follow the money. There are $Billions(if not $Trillions) of dirty money out there. When Hillary lost they can’t move the money as easily as they thought. Obama has to be paid off. That is why he is sticking around. Clintons can’t figure out how to close the Foundations without setting off red flags. Trump can pull them in at any time and check the books. They are a regulated tax entity.
I am sure the Iran deal has $billions in perks for Obama and pals. That is why no one ever sees the actual deal and side deals. Obama never passed a budget in his two terms. Does anyone wonder why? How do you think he paid iran all that cash. Keep your nose to the ground and head in the direction it takes you. You are on the right track.
