It doesn’t have anything to do with where he lived all of his childhood; rather it’s more likely that his attitude is due more to the German genes he carries and having been around all of the building trade guys, all of his life...plus the fact that most of the average/usual New York City people ( the real ones...not those who move there and then claim to be New Yorkers ), especially from his generation and older ones too, have that same attitude!

Nice thought but you are a Staten Islander. Don’t confuse Jamaica Estates in the 50s and 60s with Queens. It wasnt Ridgewood, Astoria, or Irish Woodside. Trump is tough but from his Brooklyn and Woodhaven father. But as I said on another thread. He might be a political Lawrence Taylor.
