Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) appeared on Fox's First 100 Days Thursday evening after a closed door briefing earlier in the day by FBI director James Comey concerning the agency's investigation into claims of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
The interview begins with host Martha MacCallum mentioning that Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA), who attended the same meeting, was "rattled" over the lack of information Comey gave concerning Russian involvement in the election.
Gowdy, on the other hand, seemed shocked at Schiff's apparent lack of enlightenment:

Actually, they took my advice on several occasions. But, I’m sure you have such contacts who take your advice too.
Thank you, LS! Well stated, as always.
There is a strategy that can be used. Helps knowing who the players are.
Just further validation of the old truism regarding Democrats. Want to know what they're up to? Just look at what they're accusing Republicans of doing.
I am sure that there is! I have seen masterful tactics and strategy from the Trump team, so far and have been trying to educate myself as to the players. It is dizzying! Yet, Trump & Co. have managed to get many of the rats on both sides to declare themselves, isolate themselves and put themselves in corners. Most have no way out. Just waiting for traps to spring.
It must be difficult to sit there and keep shut on what you know. Glad you’re on our side. I have taken heart from your comments for years.
Hope you are analyzing this for the next book.
You have to build the sluiceway all the way up to the swamp before you can blow the last bit of muck that’s keeping the swamp together.
It would be nice if someone would wink at us from time to time so we can know we’re making progress: I think Gowdy is doing that here and Sessions with what he said.
I do too especially since the Dim obviously didn’t like what he heard.
Not saying everything is perfect. I still don’t know what the thinking about Flynn was. But I don’t think they lost anything with a McMaster as replacement.
Instead, I’ve suggested a way to go on full blown offense and get Cankles and Obama.
Is that a wink? LOL
I’ve had to turn off all news, especially Tokyo Rove FNC, for the last two days.
Binging on prison break films, The Rock, Escape Plan, Get the Gringo, no more tv news for me until something positive breaks on FR.
Funny, same here. In fact, I was in my car not too long ago, listening to Fox. They brought Mary Ann Marsh on, I think with Rove and listened for thirty seconds and that was it.
Knowing that for decades the democrats have been in cahoots with the Soviet communists, I originally found it odd that they would go after Trump as hard as they have on this subject. But, I’ve come to believe that they know they (the DNC) are going to come under fire for 60 years of Russian interference in US politics including Ted Kennedy’s attempt to defeat Reagan.
Their actions may have been an attempt to blunt that revelation. The only problem with regards to Trump is there is nothing there. Which is why they had to get McCain to shop around that phony report. The democrats, on the other hand, have done plenty and I’m sure the FBI has plenty of proof.
You’re binging on prison break films, too? Any recs? :)
Not to get too off track. But the Dummies are saying that the guy who wrote the supposed “dossier” on Trump has been subpoenaed by the Senate. They are particularly thrilled that the Trump “pissing video” is going to be played.
Dummies is right.
By the way. Try to spell “subpoenaed” without looking it up.
Put down the crack pipe...
Concern trolls are out.
One of the first things I do when I get on FR is check your comments. Always cheers me up and sets things on track.
What is your take on Preibus? Seems a lot of people think he’s not totally on board with Trump and may be subverting him, but I don’t think so. Not enough actual news to know.
(From my profile page):
In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.

Totally agree. I’ve been fuming all day about the slush fund. People are not out there busting their behinds, working one, two, even three jobs so their hard earned money can go to La Raza.
Bannon seems satisfied that Priebus is on board. Spoke with a Milwaukee radio host today who said Priebus was instrumental in winning WI.
