Artificial human life could soon be grown from scratch in the lab, after scientists successfully created a mammal embryo using only stem cells.
Cambridge University mixed two kinds of mouse stem cells and placed them on a 3D scaffold. After four days of growth in a tank of chemicals designed to mimic conditions inside the womb, the cells formed the structure of a living mouse embryo.
The breakthrough has been described as a masterpiece in bioengineering, which could eventually allow scientists to grow artificial human embryos in the lab without the need for a sperm or an egg.

God help us.
Yep.
Made to order by the worshipers of Transhumanist/Postgenderist technocratic doctrine in their spirit of anti-Christ.

>>I dont see the advantage here.
Oh, this is a signature moment for the LGBTQXYZwhatever “culture”.
this accomplishment should not be downplayed, nor should we be making biblical quotes just yet. It reflects the state of ignorance that defines much of biological research. Only through trial and error, along with the accumulated knowledge did researchers finally zone in on the right combination to cause what sounds like in vitro parthogenesis. It takes cloning to a whole new level, not to mention creating a platform for CRISPR-like gene editing that crosses species lines. This is the Brave New World.

Clone?
Can I manufacture my own slave?
They took pre-existing life and repurposed enslaved it.
Imagine if Eqypt's non-reformed revolutionary progressive overlords, or their contemporary mimics, could've bred a hive of their choosing...

And then there is the AI crowd that thinks Westworld is around the corner. When gene splicing and AI collide...will they have legal rights like people? How much will it cost the oligarchs to buy congress so their creations have full citizenship? The corruptocracy is easily bought and sold.
A cure for feminism..!
Fantastic..!
Well, not quite scratch.
Why are people so scared of this..?
Because it’s new..?
Not so long ago, the tone I see in this thread accompanied talk of white and blacks marrying:
“It’s evil, it’s not God’s plan....”
I can’t see how the fear here is different from fear born of racism.
Mind you I’m NOT calling you racist, I just don’t see how the two forms of fear are any different.
If all the genetic material came from one parent, I guess it would be a clone.
This process appears to imply taking material from multiple sources and combining it into an embryo.
I’m seeing LOTS of emotional opposition, but I’m not seeing any presentation of an argument based on logic.
What I THINK you might be saying is,
“The Bible presents child formation as springing from a union betweeen male and female; they naturally completment each other and this new technology circumvents that complementation process...”
Is THAT what your reasoning is..?
What is the argument.
>>And you have to create your own mud.
Yep. But the Transumanist/Postgenderist LGBTQXYZWhatever “culture” doesn’t care about mud.
They just want a means of propagating and worshiping themselves without all the peskiness of the procreative rules established by Natural Law/Selection.
Artificial intelligence will kill us all.
After all of their tinkering, the scientist may very well create a perfect specimen of a human body .... but will it have a functional brain?
I’m just as worried about artificial stupidity.
