Two Senate Democrats are calling for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from any Justice Department investigation into issues related to the resignation of national security adviser Michael Flynn and his contacts with the Russian ambassador late last year. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called Tuesday for an "independent investigation," possibly led by career DOJ employees with prosecutorial powers, while Oregon Sen. Jeff Merkley suggested to CNN's Erin Burnett a special prosecutor should be appointed.

The DOJ just released a statement clarifying that Sessions met with twenty-five ambassadors from other countries last year.

Completely within the lawful exercise of Sessions’ duties as a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

The real problem is the 10 billion dollars the Democrat party wasted to try and get Hillary Clinton elected. The donors need an explanation from the Democrap party or assassinations of leftist Clinton Foundation fund raisers by foreign countries will become “de rigeur.”

The Russian story of influencing Hillary’s non election is a cover meme for wasting all that money which showed absolutely no results; the truth is : the only thing that the Democrat party is good for, wasting money. Now such foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation as China, and Russia themselves have too late discovered the truth about Democrats. But at least Russian managed to get a US Uranium mine for their investment.

The larger beneficiaries are the jingoistic, propagandist Main Stream Media, whose coffers are now so full they will not abandon their failed patrons. And now they too are collapsing in failure.

Celebrate everyone.

We are watching the collapse of the liberal fascist left of the Dem party into the dust bin of history, along with the media whose lies can no longer support them. No one will be willing to give them a red cent for at least a generation.

The donor tree is tapped dry and dead.

Sessions should simply tell then all to stick it.Recusing himself is too high a price to pay to stay on the good side of Congress critters. Resigning is out of the question.

Fake news is fake news. Call it what it is.

They’re saying resign in order to get recuse. Art of the deal. Too bad Jeff can’t just go back to the Senate.

Not gonna happen, assclowns. But by all means, spend your time tilting at these windmills while our CEO President continues racking up real accomplishments.

I was gonna go for telling the Democrats to get bent, but your more diplomatic way to tell them to shove off works.

Here’s hoping that whatever truth there is to Pizzagate and other scandals that it results in the DNC finally being eviscerated.

Trump needs to step-up to the plate on this.

No, Sessions is not resigning.
No, he is not recusing himself from this or any other investigations.
We have begun a round of firings at the NSA, CIA and FBI over suspected leaks.

Ha, the dem’s know swift justice is coming to them one-by-one, for high crimes and treason committed against the United States. Trump keeps pounding the idea that he is only president of the US, and that the Rule of Law will be restored. The left’s dying grip on power last only as long as it takes to remove the leaker’s. Each leaker will be prosecuted and fired and then on to the Dem-strongholds/city-state slums where from the street up to the mayor’s prosecutions will mount.

People in Hell want ice water.

This means the indictments are coming down. RATS are in the unfortunate position of Trump having 76% of the People approve of his plans and agenda, guess the RATS intend to go down swinging. Good, it’s more entertaining that way.

When I saw “two Senate Democrats,” I thought they meant McCain and Graham.

He needs to say he will not recuse himself period. Otherwise, decisions are made by an Obama appointee. But, being a Republican, smart money says he will recuse.

This play by the Democrats goes far beyond Sessions.

I think Jeff Sessions is where he needs to be at this moment in history
If not AG Sessions then who?
How about some help, here from Russia?
Please release a log of every republican and democrat who, participated in any meeting or conference with any Russian present
Especially any that accepted money
I only wish when McCain sent his 2014,campaign donation request to Churkin , he had sent him $20

And btw President Putin, time to start seeding Russian money into every liberal loving PAC and keeping records of who cashes the checks

Booh Yah

Nothing like suggesting a high-profile name with unblemished integrity:

CNN's Erin Burnett a special prosecutor should be appointed

This play by the Democrats goes far beyond Sessions.

You can also bet certain Republicans *cough* McCain *cough* are in on it.
