Maybe Adam Gopnik (izzat a real name?) lives in a matrix.................. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gopnik Gopnik (Russian: го́пник)[1] is a Slavic subculture; a pejorative social slur used in Russia, Ukraine, other former Soviet states and Eastern Europe to refer to aggressive young men or women of lower-class suburbans (usually under 25 years of age)[2] coming from families of poor education and income, somewhat similar to British chavs, Scottish neds, or Polish dresiarz.[citation needed] The female form is gopnitsa (Russian: го́пница), and the collective noun is gopota (Russian: гопота́).

I believe a cosmologist postulated the same thing (in the matrix) citing puzzling quantum actions. This author uses unimportant anomalies that, while amusing, have no universe importance. I think the fact that God exists explains a lot of things of importance.

The thing is that in order to live in the matrix, there has to exist a reality in which a computer powerful enough to process the matrix exists.
Not only does the reality in which Matrix resides have to exist, there has to be a designer.

You hear that Mr. Gopnik?... That is the sound of inevitability... It is the sound of millions of Trump voters putting a conservative agenda in place . . . Goodbye, Mr. Gopnik.

I'm pretty sure that was meant to be satirical, "using absurdity to illustrate the absurd."

This guy has seen the movie “Dark City” one time too often. The strangers are losing their grip and the light is breaking through. Shell Beach is just beyond the horizon.
