I concur. It galls me that Bush didn't say crap about Obama. He should have been screaming at the top of his lungs that this F***ing affirmative Action fool was wrecking everything, but he remained silent and I thought that was because he respected the principle of not criticizing a sitting President.
Something I've never understood or ever seen discussed on FR is, GWB/Cheney had to KNOW the background of that bassturd Obama, before he was eemackulated as POTUS. Obama didn't have the power to hid his illegal status before he was POTUS. So, GWB/Cheney could have exposed that turd but didn't.

I remember that well— the “compassionate” conservativism” nonsense, and also GWB said not to “balance the budget on the backs of the poor” then as you said he came in in full appeasement mode with ted kennedy and the education bill.
GWB was always a big spending, establishment liberal republican. Unlike Trump, who is willing to fight for the things we want, against overwhelming odds. Trump is a courageous hero. GWB is the epitome of the cowardly rino.
I know if anyone knoiws what its like to have the media attack you unfarily, you’d think it would be Bush. You would think Bush would have some empathy.
