Former President George W. Bush is criticizing President Donald Trump's first month in office, though he remains optimistic about the future.
"I don't like the racism and I don't like the name-calling and I don't like the people feeling alienated," Bush told People magazine.
"Nobody likes that."

"I didn't feel like speaking out before because I didn't want to complicate the job and I'm not going to this time. However, at the Bush Center we are speaking up."
The Bush Center programs include immigration ceremonies, AIDS prevention programs in Africa and leadership training for Muslim women.

What a piece of garbage. Wouldn’t read his book if he gave it away. Obama and the rats crapped all over him and he hid in his hole. Now that the media is anti Trump, he wants to pile on. Don’t forget his old man engineered a sweet heart deal for him to avoid Viet Nam.
Wow, not a peep for 8 years while scumbag set about dismantling our country and now this? SCREW YOU JORGE.
Shut up and paint,George.
Senor Arbusto was probably as drunk as a skunk when he said it.
His bro Tippytoes, McCain and Jorge can pound sand into a rat-hole.
Sorry GW, he is not a racist or has racist policies. He is twice the man you are.
Pray America woke
Word of advice to Wuss, STFU.
Well if you mean the racism and name-calling
from the left I agree!
Why not just to us a favor and STFU.
When a politician compromises himself completely and betrays his country, he has to have something he can cling to in order to make himself seem respectable to himself and others. For Bush, salvation comes by way of condemning racism.
During his talk at Gerald Fords funeral, Bush talked about racism. He said that racism was the worst possible thing. Why would someone bring up the subject of racism at a funeral? He had a nationwide, if not worldwide, audience. He wanted to parade his righteousness. It is an easy, convenient righteousness. It does not require any action, does not require any effort or discipline.
Very astute observation.
I've noticed that the modern conservative movement's one unifying goal is to hunt down and stamp out white people's racism everywhere in the world. It's become a grotesque crusade.
These bastards will surrender every policy battle to the Left as long as they can fight against white people being racist.
Ben Shapiro said in an interview that whenever a person is discovered to be racist, they should be destroyed. He said they should lose their reputations, careers, everything.
This is the modern Conservative movement. Neverending persecution of white people to toe the line of the race narrative.
They have completely failed to beat the Left at anything for decades. They haven't conserved the American nation, economy, culture, security, or even women's bathrooms.
So now they've accepted another premise of the Left, again, and smear white people.
Thanks Conservatives.
Some people think opposition to Islam is racism not recognizing that Islam is an ideology and not a race. Then too, Bush thought Islam was a religion of peace.
Yes, it sounds like he’s gone back to his drinkin’. I doubt he ever strayed too far away from it; a friend of mine who worked in the Reagan White House told me that he would stop by, demand all sorts of favors, and was in general, rude and just mean as a snake. I don’t buy the “class” comments here or elsewhere; people of “class” don’t do their best to publicly slander the leader of the country and their party. This Vietnam draft dodger is of no “class” whatsoever.
W was a nice guy, but not a strong one. He has let himself be manipulated by social pressure into attacking the innocent to appease the cry bullies. I am very dissapointed and hope he realizes what is happening and what he did.
Very thoughtful post.
George H Bush, the elder rode Reagans coat tails to the Presdency
and ended up being a one termer.
There would not have been a Ross Perot had Bush the elder not ignored
a large part of the base. Perot picked up what Bush left on the table.
He must mean the anti-white racism. That’s the only racism I’ve seen of late.
Country clubber jackass.
WOW.
So very disappointing.
A Text without a Context is a Pretext.
I’m ashamed that I supported Bush 43.
I have felt that way for quite awhile now, long before he made these comments.
If I would have to do it over again, I would have voted for a third party candidate in 2000 and 2004.
I am NOT suggesting that we abandon our principles, but either we find a way to win minority voters over, or the dems will have succeeded in importing a permanent liberal voting majority.
BUSH CLINTON
Scumbags
GLOBALISTS
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE CLINTONS ARE ALSO TRAITORS
