George W. Bush on Trump presidency: 'I don't like the racism'

Former President George W. Bush is criticizing President Donald Trump's first month in office, though he remains optimistic about the future.

"I don't like the racism and I don't like the name-calling and I don't like the people feeling alienated," Bush told People magazine.

"Nobody likes that."

"I didn't feel like speaking out before because I didn't want to complicate the job and I'm not going to this time. However, at the Bush Center we are speaking up."

The Bush Center programs include immigration ceremonies, AIDS prevention programs in Africa and leadership training for Muslim women.

I have come to the inescapable conclusion that the GOPe “forced” GHWB off on RR as their “price” for helping him get elected. There has been too much of this the last couple of days. I have no evidence but the pattern of innanity in "W"'s interviews; but from over sixty years of mental combat with international fantasy seekers trying to force their wish lists on the rest of the planet, my gut feeling is that someone with something to embarrass "W" with, is pulling his strings.

I do not mean that he is not confused enough to actually believe some of this garbage. The point is that we have not heard from him on anything like this for eight years--and suddenly we have daily doses. Someone has jerked his chain!

For anyone looking for a collection of essays dissecting "W" from his days in Washington: Bush Analysis. From a traditional Conservative perspective he was always a major--an enormous--disappointment, bandying child like cliches on issues that went to the very future of America in any recognizable form. I suspect that Trump's IQ is literally double "W"'s.
