George W. Bush on Trump and Russia: 'We all need answers'
Associated Press ^ | Feb 27, 2017 9:47 AM EST

Former President George W. Bush said Monday “we all need answers” on the extent of contact between President Donald Trump’s team and the Russian government, and didn’t rule out the idea that a special prosecutor could be necessary to lead an investigation.

The Republican also defended the media’s role in keeping world leaders in check, noting that “power can be addictive,” and warned against immigration policies that could alienate Muslims.

“I am for an immigration policy that’s welcoming and upholds the law,” Bush told NBC’s “Today” show.

Bush’s comments came after a prominent Republican in Congress, Rep. Darrell Issa of California, called for a special prosecutor to investigate whether Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and was in touch with Trump’s top advisers during the campaign. …

What “answers” do we need?

I presume the Russian government preferred Trump. I presume they did what they could to promote their preference.

If they had the Podesta emails (which they almost certainly did), I presume they passed them to WikiLeaks through intermediaries.

If all of the above is true, so what?

It is disgusting that we all voted for him and backed him throughout his presidency, and now he is taking up the democrat mantra that the Russians affected our election.

The whole concept that the Russians affected our election is complete trash. They could not gain access to our voting machines. The idea that they intercepted emails and gave them to Wikileaks has been refuted by Wikileaks. Now how could they have affected our elections? It’s complete baloney!

8 years of silence about Obama and now running your mouth about Trump. George, what the hell is wrong with you?

And it’s no coincidence that W and Achmadinejad started popping off their mouths at the same time.

How about an investigation on all those weapons of mass destruction that 5000 American soldiers died for? What a fraud!

Suppose the Russians gave Podesta’s emails to WikiLeaks because they wanted Trump to win?

Is the content of the emails false? Was the information in them material to voters? Would the Trump campaign have released them if they had them?

I understand the defeated Democrats being mad about their horrible nature being revealed. I do not understand 100 GOP members of Congress, numerous GOP Senators, and the former Republican President making an issue out of it.

If everything the Democrats say is true, Putin should get a medal.

That's it in a nutshell.

He was more wily than Obama, and some of us fell for it.

Dallas Texas 2006, during war time, under Republican George Bush.

500,000 illegal aliens march on Dallas Texas pushing foreign flags in our faces and while making demands and threats. All while Bush celebrated Cinco De Mayo up in the White House each year...During war time.

Pence is one of them. He’s silently waiting for the coup. And if the coup is successful, Pence will quickly restore the old order.

The one thing all of them share in common is that they are all party to the same corruption as members of The Uniparty Establishment. Their common enemy is President Donald J. Trump.
